安達盧斯酒店(Hotel Al-Andalus)

Op zoek naar een lunch locatie voorafgaand aan ons bezoek aan de cueva de nerja. Doordat we wat krap in de tijd zaten zijn we hier beland. Zieloos, armoedig, een serveerster waar niets vanuit gaat en het duurde lang. Toen wat recensies gaan lezen, de eetlust verging ons spontaan. In een andere setting had ik het eten voldoende beoordeeld, maar alles bij elkaar heb ik het na een paar hapjes laten staan, afgerekend en weggegaan.

Elegimos este Hotel por su ubicación en una zona que queríamos conocer y realizar recorridos. Dos noches estupendas. Hotel muy bien situado al lado de las Cuevas de Nerja. Habitaciones muy limpias, amplias y cómodas. Baño y ducha suficiente . Terraza y pequeño salón con otra segunda televisión. Cenamos en su restaurante la primera noche y muy bien de calidad, raciones generosas y precios muy correctos. Desayuno suficiente para lo que tenemos costumbre. Todo el personal muy amable, atento y servicial. Lugar muy recomendable.

Chambre spacieuse, literie propre et de bonne qualité , salle de bains propre mais à ameliorer ( pas de rideau de douche) . Personnel très agréable Petit déjeuner copieux

Lugar muy bien situado para el turisteo, con zona de aparcamiento y a 3 min andando de las cuevas de Nerja. Habitación simple, con lo esencial, muy limpio y sin ruido, perfecto para descansar. Repetiría sin lugar a dudas. Lo único, no recomiendo el desayuno buffet, poquísima variedad en todos los sentidos.

Nous avons pris un menu au restaurant. Verre ebraiché. Paella de la veille Friture de poisson horrible Poulet Al ajillo immangeable. Et alors les desserts, à part la glace industrielle, à vomir. Serveuse !!! Pas du tout avenante.... A fuir absolument !!!!

I did not like the staff. Some of them seemed very unfriendly and lazy! The bathroom in the room was awful. Shower and dryer didn’t work properly. The shower seemed dirty too. The location was awful! At least an hour of walking until you reach centrum of Nerja. The beds must be made out of stone, definitely the worst bed I’ve ever experienced. The lunch on the hotel was good and the balcony was nice tho

Visited for dinner as a family of eight as we were staying in a villa nearby. It was very quiet, never a good sign. Waitress was a bit difficult arranging us to sit together, and there was no drinks menu which made ordering quite tricky with the language barrier. Three of us ordered the Cordon Bleu which was the first dish to arrive out. All three were completely raw inside the breadcrumbs, could have made us so ill and ruined our holiday. It's only by the luck of me needing to cut my young children's food for them that we noticed before anyone ate. We immediately made to leave, said we would pay for the drinks but would not be staying to eat and refused to pay for the meals. They threatened to call the police, became very aggressive while on the phone to the manager. Eventually we were able to pay for just the drinks and left. We will not return and will warn anyone away from here! Shockingly bad. Avoid!

Dommage que la note minimum soit de 1 car uniquement des points négatifs : Hôtel vieillot, MATELAS TACHES DE SANG ET D URINE, draps et murs des chambres sales, pas d alèse sur les lits, cheveux sur les lits, briquet sous un matelas. la jeune femme de l accueil est hautaine et dédaigneuse, elle n a pas estimé nécessaire un changement de matelas( photos à l appui ) dans la mesure où les chambres étaient payées d avance m a t elle dit ouvertement. Un homme de l hôtel nous a proposé 2 autres chambres, malheureusement dans le même état, avec une odeur d égout en supplément...nous avons dormi mes enfants, mon mari et moi sur des chaises. Hôtel où le client n est pas considéré . NOUS SOMMES CONSTERNES AU VU DU PRIX ELEVE DES CHAMBRES

We had been promising ourselves a visit to the stunning Nerja caves for several years and eventually decided on the Hotel Al-Andalus as our base. This 3* Hotel is perfectly located for such a visit, being only a 5 minute walk from the Cave's entrance (it's wise to pre-book entry online), and it's conveniently close to the (shielded) motorway, although this results in some traffic noise. Guests wishing to visit the main part of town/Balcon de Europa should note that it is c.10/15 minutes by car. The Hotel has ample free parking, a pool, a sizeable restaurant/bar with reasonable prices and a very welcome terrace. Our room was simply decorated, but spacious with a balcony and facilities were adequate for a short-stay. A buffet breakfast was included with our tariff and, although the selection was fairly limited, it was pleasant to eat outside on the terrace. In summary, an enjoyable experience which I would totally recommend for those intending to visit the Caves. However, it is too far from the main town to be convenient for those primarily intending to visit the beach or the numerous bars, shops and restaurants in the centre.
