Brilliant hotel clean everything you need staff absolutely amazing defo stop again

We enjoyed a wonderful overnight stay at the Hex Hotel. The room was stylish, spacious, clean, with a gorgeous bathroom with rainfall shower and Temple Spa products. We had a fabulous view of the Pangea area of the park too. Breakfast the next morning was very good. Would highly recommend.

Booked the Hex Hotel as a stop over before head further south. Found the place easily and parked just a short walk to the reception which is seperate form the main hotel. Check in was easy and quick then another short walk through a variety of shops to the hotel. room was clean and comfortable a bit cold when i first went in but soon warmed up using the temp control. Ate in the wilds café bistro. enjoying a starter of warm goats cheese salad followed by beef burger with bacon and cheese. Both were delicious. bar staff were friendly and welcoming . When i got back to my room was unable to work the TV but was not too fussed so never bothered to get any assistance. . sleep well and breakfast in the Bistro was a great start to the day good selection on offer. hoping to stay next time i am in the area. hope to get a room that looks on to the park as i was facing he shops and big wheel :-)

Clean, comfotable. Breakfast good. Staff very polite. Only slight downside is it is a bit of a walk from the carpark. Access is good for disabled. Excellent if you want to visit the Yorkshire Wildlife Park as the entrance is at the hotel door.

Very well maintained and fresh smelling. While it's a new hotel, I hope they can keep up this high level of cleanliness. Some of the plug sockets in my room didn't work, but it wasn't a big issue for just one night. Overall, good value for money given the location.

wonderful concept in natural surroundings - not sure if the large london eye style attraction wheel is temporary or permanent in the entrance of the site, but it just seemed so out of kilt with everything the place stands for - nature, animals, eco, but I am sure it will have a big appeal to many. Staff friendly, room modern and well designed, food good (don't go for the breakfast buffet anytime close to closing - they seemed to run out of everything and not eager to replenish.) Dinner in the bistro was lovely, nice ambiance. Reception staff very cordial and pleasant and room prices very fair. Wilds Bistro pricing similar to York/Leeds city pricing.

Great stay with my family for my daughter's 6th birthday. The hotel is new and clean. We had a family room with resort view and could see several of the animals throughout our stay. We could see wolves, patagonian mara, tapiers and capybara. Which was a lovely extra as we had spent the day in the park also. We ate in wilds bistro for our evening meal & breakfast and staff were friendly and helpful. The food was OK, but it could have been better. Breakfast had a nice selection however. My children loved our stay and we would recommend it when visiting the park

This was a great place to stay, right at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park. 50% off park ticket if staying. Nice room, no opening windows, did get warm. Restaurants and cafes all around. Ate breakfast and evening meal in Restaurant, 1st morning buffet, not a lot of guests so food had been sitting for a while. Other 2 mornings ordered off menu, enormous meal, better but bacon very tough. Dinner was good. The staff here are excellent, nothing to much, all very nice. You park in main carpark and have to walk a distance to hotel reception. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily go back.
