奧利維爾家酒店(The Olivier House Hotel)

Lovely place to stay. We had a little loft room with a balcony and chandelier. Very romantic!

This property felt like stepping back in time. It is not upscale and fancy, but super unique and quirky. It was a very convenient location right around the corner from the action on Burbon St. Upon check in we met a very helpful desk man named John. He gave us a room upgrade and a list of great places to eat. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Super fun!!!

Wonderful stay and wonderful staff. A slight snafu upon checking in was quickly solved by the owner. The property is quaint. Full of beautiful antiques and an inviting center court area with pool.The staff couldn't have been more helpful. This hotel is eclectic and each room is different. Definitely not a chain hotel experience. It is within a half block of Bourbon street, but is very quiet. Close to some great restaurants. I just don't see how you could be disappointed staying at the Olivier House.

We had an amazing time at this hotel. The room was beautiful and felt like going back in time without missing any of the modern amenities. The building has so much character and the staff was always very friendly and eager to assist. We had a balcony on Dauphine so the noise level wasn’t bad at all. I have been to New Orleans many times before and this just became my go to place to stay for all future trips.

We loved our stay and would not hesitate to go back. However, the housekeeping staff did not stay on top of things. We had to ask for more soap, the beds were never crisply made, and we were given only one hand towel over 5 days. (However, we had loads of bath towels.) These inconveniences were easy to overlook, though, because the quality of everything else about this hotel was outstanding.

I think everyone walking in will be wide-eyed. It is something you have to experience. The propery is huge with multiple courtyards that stay cool during the hot parts of the day and magical at night. The place has more character that the best of the garden district and nearly completely hidden from the outside. Half a block frome central Bourbon st, but no noise upon entering. This was a concern for me because i had read warnings about the night life keeping people too close to the Quarter up at night. My girlfriend wanted to be surprised for her birthday and i can say, with full satisfaction, she was. The staff is always available as you walk in the door and send out a welcome home feeling that words fail me with. You will just have to experience this place.

This hotel was amazing! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They were very accommodating when we asked to switch rooms due to needing a bit more space and they did it right away! The courtyards and pool are very peaceful and the grounds and rooms are well kept. We enjoyed wandering around and exploring the different areas of the hotel. It was such a great experience that we would definitely stay there again! Oh, and the resident cats were a plus too!

Olivier House was exactly what I was expecting and hoped for. A room smack dab in the middle of the quarter with a great balcony and furnishings and surroundings that made me feel that I was there a hundred years ago. It was authentic, not a ulta modern room that could have been anywhere. The staff, especially John, was very friendly and helpful and the lounging areas inside and out were lovely. I had been concerned that I might hear the noise of Bourbon street at night, but I didn't. Although of course, still heard some other sounds of a city. I relished my time on the balcony listening to the music in the afternoon. And the three cats gave it all an extra homey feel.

Definitely the best and most interesting hotel I've stayed at in the French Quarter. Very central, convenient location, one block to Bourbon Street, so very close to all that's going on, but far enough that it's quiet. As long as they have availability, I will always choose this hotel first.
