法國區烏爾蘇林酒店(Inn on Ursulines, a French Quarter Guest Houses Property)

I love this hotel last time I stayed here. It’s extremely close to walk to everything However. This time we stayed there was a huge roach in the bathroom and when we reported it the guys just seemed to laugh about it . I won’t be staying here again next time . Very unfortunate

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen, ruhig und hat eine schöne kleine lobby und das Personal ist hilfsbereit und nett. Das war es aber schon mit den Pluspunkten. Ansonsten bräuchte das Hotel dringend eine Renovierung. In unserem Zimmer waren überpinselte Risse in der Wand zu sehen, die Farbe blättert im Bad ab, die Badewanne hat Roststellen weil das Email teils abgegangen ist, usw... Und vor allem, es ist nicht sauber. Am letzten Tag ist uns auch noch ein mehrfüssiger brauner Mitbewohner im Bad begegnet. Nie wieder!

It is old historic buildings, so it comes with all the issues you'd possibly expect - it was humid the entire time and smelled like mildew, my belongings all came home smelling of it. There were lots of repair items needed in the room I stayed in, the AC made an ungodly noise that I didn't realize until I'd completely unpacked and didn't want to repack to move, however had I realized how disruptive it would actually be in hindsight I would have asked to be moved. The floors were coming up in several places, and the shower was incredibly small - like a 30"x30" shower. To wash my hair i had to hang outside the shower to I could put my hands above my head. The photos of the hotel also don't reflect it's current appearance. There is no jacuzzi in the courtyard, and it doesn't appear there ever was one, I definitely feel like that might have been photo shopped. The front desk did tell us they have a sister property with those amenities, but that photo should be removed from the listing, it's misleading. There are also no flowers, potted plants, or lattice anywhere to be found in the courtyard, so the ambiance in the photos is not the experience you will get on arrival. The listing also mentions no elevator and only street parking, so you will have to unload on the street and then move to off site parking that is about 4 blocks away as there was never once street parking available. It is a very walkable area close to Bourbon St and other restaurants and shops.

propreté moyenne. ne pas prendre les chambres sur la rue. pas de WIFI La piscine n'est pas sur ce lieu. pas de sèche-cheveux comme dit dans le descriptif. la situation est le seul point positif.

Called with an inquiry And the person that answered the phone told me I had to call ******* and hung up I never went to the property

AC leaked water the entire 3 night stay. Told the front desk and repair man was supposed to show up the next day. Never did. We had to keep emptying a bucket and cleaning up water. On our final morning the ceiling broke open and water poured in to our room from upstairs laundry room. Soaked part of the bed and flooded part of the room. Not a good experience.

The only 2 bad things were the parking & no mini fridge in the room. We had trouble finding the inn because the sign, in front was very small & we had to drive around a few times down all the 1 way streets. Also, we had to park 6 blocks away & walk back & forth.

Cablevision was out all three nights. Staff blamed the outage on Cox Cable and promised that it would be fixed but it never was during the time I was there.. I awoke the first morning that to water dripping on my head from a ceiling mounted air conditioning unit. I was moved to another room at the same property that was filthy with uneven floors, a broken dresser, and an ancient shower with very little water pressure.,Also, The advertised Hot Tub in the courtyard remained covered with a sheet of plywood and looked like it had not been used in years. However, all staff members were very nice and should not be blamed for the condition of the property.

One of the two rooms was never cleaned so I got another room and then in that other other room was a water leak over bed. At 7am the housekeeper entered the room scaring me when I was sleeping because she said she didn’t not it was occupied
