The $75 resort fee is so unnecessary. Breakfast was grossly overpriced and did not even taste good. So that $75 we had to use only covered Breakfast and a soda from the "store" because of those ridiculous prices.
The bathroom in the room was small and the hot water in the shower was luke warm at best. The towels are small and some were dirty. The room could use more seating options.

The rooms were a great size, especially for Brooklyn/NYC standards. The facility was clean and it was quiet. The service, however, was not great. Our room was not ready until after 4pm, which is check in time. We were also charged for our room again at that time even though we had already prepaid when making the reservation. The staff did not tell us the digital key wouldn’t work in the elevator. The trash in our room was not removed with the daily cleaning, nor did they replenish our water glasses or coffee supplies/cups.

Booked 3 nights starting Sept 24th. I cancelled my booking a couple weeks or more in advance and never received notice of cancellation or of any upcoming trip until the day After I had originally been scheduled to arrive; 1:30pm Sept 25th. When I called, the Brooklyn location didn’t answer so I called another general service number. That person was very helpful and gave me other phone numbers to call however, they were not able to confirm that I received no email confirmation about any pending trip to the Brooklyn hotel until Sept 25. Now I am told I will be billed for a no-show night, for Sept 24, though it was cancelled and Hilton never communicated I was expected in Brooklyn. ******* stated they would pay the cost because there was a computer glitch, however, Hilton is just as much at fault. Hoping this is straighten out soon. Haven’t heard from either hotel about it in writing yet. Confusing

There was one woman at the front desk who nice and helpful with storing our luggage and checking us out. However, everyone else whether it was at the front desk or housekeeping was useless. Totally understand that it's not a nice enough hotel to offer a concierge so at the very least the front desk people which are the only ones to find in the lobby besides the bartender should know how to get to the subway and other basic get around town stuff. Between three front desk associates none of them knew Brooklyn and said as much. Other than the staff the hotel is great if you need a reliable place to stay with spacious for New York type rooms. It's safe and relatively clean. Rooms have an empty fridge which was great and a huge safe for a 16" laptop. Amazing proximity to subway stations and the nicer neighborhood (Cobble Hill) around the corner. Would still probably stay here again but wished they would hire people who actually know they neighborhood.
