利文頓酒店(Hotel on Rivington)

I was worried about the recent negative reviews, but my experience was fairly good. I think there’s a systemic problem between third-party booking sites like Trip.com and the hotel where the room you get assigned is not necessarily what you wanted. In our case we paid for a Deluxe King, in part for the standing shower in the website photos. The room we were assigned had a tub, and the front desk was accommodating in switching us to the room we wanted. Room was clean, showing some wear and age, but generally well appointed (although the art is weird). Location is good around the corner from a subway stop. WiFi was alright in the room, but the 2nd floor lobby was fast and not a bad place to do some remote work.

Foto’s en filmpjes komen niet overeen met de werkelijkheid. De locatie zou ik niet nog een keer kiezen, hotel is echt wel verouderd. Kamer was wel groot voor New York en goede airco. Maar voor het bedrag zou ik iets anders boeken of bijv in Hoboken gaan zitten.

Vi valgte hotellet pga.udsigten, som levede op til vores forventninger. Der var morgenmad inkluderet, men det var virkelig ringe. Der manglede opfyldning af stort set alt, undtagen brød - som var tørt og kedeligt. Vi gik ud og spiste i stedet for, de fleste morgener.

Fantastic location with friendly staff. For a 4 star rated hotel, the amenities did not match, our fridge did not work, there is no ice machine at the hotel, some light switches did not work, and the phone did not work in either room we booked. The hotel is under a "renovation" but a disclaimer is not listed on *******.

The tv in the bedroom didn’t work for our two night stay unfortunately. It just couldn’t get a clear picture at any point. The toilet wasn’t working properly and we had to lift the tank lid to stop the tank from continuously filling. Other than those two inconveniences we did really enjoy our stay here!! The staff are great and it was a pleasant stay! We would return again!

The only reason to stay at this hotel is to be walkable for the area. That is what you're paying for. There are no other real amenities and it's difficult to tell what remodeling is in process or complete as most of the property looks like a "flip". You might get access to your room/reservation by 4pm or not. It might have air conditioning or not. The elevator may or may not work. The staff may or may not ignore your concerns. They may tell you that they'll follow up with you but then never call. The room may or may not include basic hotel items like a mirror, lamp or trash bin. There may or may not be wifi working during the duration. There may or may not be a private party happening above your floor. You might have to listen to stream of complaints from others about their stay everytime you approach a common area. I witnessed multiple people check out early. You might be ignored by staff training each other on how to handle "VIP" reservations and have to interject to inform them that you in fact made a "VIP" reservation of 4 or more days. Hmmmm. They will definitely charge you a 4 star price!!! Everything else is questionable and you just have to put up with it. I gave up and tried not to care as it was stealing my vacation time.

This is a perfect for location for exploring all downtown areas Lots of history down there and great restaurants It’s definitely a piece of the real NYC The hotel has very helpful and caring staff The breakfast set up was nice I’m from NY so for me it was coming home I think if your looking for a quiet hip comfortable reasonable hotel in a fun neighborhood this is a great choice

It’s an older hotel in need of an upgrade. The staff was outstanding! Friendly, helpful and available. The hallways, bathroom floor, and common areas need a refresh! The only negative was the online pics of the rooftop terrace which were only available for private parties. If you’re staying in the LES, this is a great option
