紐瓦克哈里森舒適套房酒店(Comfort Suites Newark - Harrison)

We have booked two rooms for two nights for a family vacation in New York. The receptionist staff was very dry when we checked in. I booked this hotel thinking it was a smoke free hotel or at least our rooms are smoke free but once we got up to our rooms the smell of **** was so bad and one of the rooms had a very strong smell of **** to the point that my kids were suffering from the smell all night. The next morning I complained about the smell and the staff informed me that they would try to switch my room but we never heard back from them and they didn’t change our room or even offer to compensates us for the bad smell that we had to deal with. The area of the hotel was a bit scary and the hotel is outdated and needs renovation. Breakfast was ok.

The hotel was very clean and tidy, the house keeping crew was very polite and seems very well trained. I like to thanks the front desk clerks for their professionalism and their service oriented personalities. They are really good what they are doing. Only thing I may suggest is to include a better quality pull out bed and the bed should be ready for guests to use.

Room was ok and clean. AC was noisy. Room didn't get cleaned up. Breakfast area was really dirty, trash cans overflowing, not enough food available, very basic food, eggs with cheese were cold, no milk for the cereal, tables and floor dirty, breakfast area -50 out 100

I like that Comfort Suites Harrison is always clean, quite and smells nice. The rooms are cleaned daily, toilets are cleaned and perfumed and beds are made beautifully. Breakfast is good. My children loved that we could make our waffles. There is self service laundry on the last floor. $4 to wash and $4 to dry which is quite practical and handy especially for families with young children. Area is quite, not much to see but you can uber or front desk can call you a cab to take you anywhere. Staff is courteous and the room rates are fair. I will definitely stay here again if I have a chance.

We checked in at 5pm due to a delay in the flight. The room has just been cleaned once we started checking the closet to organize our stuff we discovered tons of old food and bags hidden in it. After informing the front desk they refused to send someone to take out the garbage claiming that they only clean rooms until 5pm. They did not have the curtesy to remove the garbage. Will never go to a comfort in hotel.

El hotel en general esta bien. Sus instalaciones (cortinas, alfombras) si requieren renov**** porque se ven viejas. La ubicación no esta cerca de los transportes públicos mas eficientes, se debe tomar un uber o lift para llegar a la estación de subway. En mi estancia descansé muy bien en la cama pero la habitación estaba con muy mal olor, como a orines y se encerraba el olor. Solicité cambio de habitación pero me dijeron que el hotel estaba lleno total y me tuve que quedar las 8 noches donde mismo.

The front desk staff was great, and housekeeping was awesome. They put out a great breakfast buffet in the morning. My only complaint is that it can be a little noisy. Late at night, I could hear people above me stomping around like a heard of elephants, and TVs and radios blaring.
