weekday getaway,, came 1time fell in love and now i come monthly,,,

The over all experience was great. My wife and 2 daughters had a wonderful time, except that our sink kept getting backed up and would fill with a horrendous brown fowl water that would stink up the entire entryway. I had to call down to the front desk twice, and actually go down and talk to someone in person to get the problem addressed. The maintenance man who visited the room was exceptional and extremely professional. Management never once reached out to apologize for any inconvenience at all, just sent a bellhop with a new room key and a cart.

This property itself was beautiful and the staff was really nice at every interaction. If half ratings were allowed we’d give this place 3.5/5 for overall value. activities and restaurant options inside the property were limited. It was a bummer to not have an area to walk near the water when that’s probably this resort’s best selling feature is being on the water. So if you are not a resident or member, just know there’s no walking path for you. Their A&O restaurant is lovely but that was the only option. The rooms were very clean but nothing stood out. It also may have been my mistake to filter out but we were not expecting the noise level to be so high due to kids running up and down the hallways. Overall not the best fit for us, but a lovely property for families.

Great solid 4 star accommodations. Everyone was very nice and professional. The room had a huge bathroom which helped a lot with having two adult daughters traveling with me. The view of the marina was well worth the higher price. Only thing missing that would make it perfect would be more grounds to walk but I expect that only at 5 star resorts. I would definitely come back if I were to come back to the area for busy exploration of the area (which there are plenty) but not as a place to spend a lot of time at during your vacation.

We were there mainly to enjoy the boat parade. We were upgraded to a room with a view which we appreciate, however we were told we we be able to view from the lawn too when I called to make reservations but all of the lawn areas were closed off to either club members or private party. We really appreciated the upgrade especially given the lack of space for viewing. The property is beautiful and we would return.

The staff were all very super friendly and accommodating. There was a problem with toilet and they fixed it right away. The massage was great. The food was average but really expensive. For that price I expect more. If you are there for a longer stay I suggest eating elsewhere. But hope you have a car as there really is no where walkable. And my main complaint is the parking. $38 a day yes you heard me right to SELF park behind the hotel. That was $152 for us to park! Outside, openair in the elements, there is no garage. That in my opinion is pure GREED! And I personally would not go back foe that reason and why I rated it lower. But to each his or her own.

A very nice property, rooms are well kept and updated. Restaurant is good but some food is not as good as it should be. We came for Thanksgiving and were seated outside at 5:30 p.m. way down in the cold near the water. I did not expect to be outside. Otherwise it was very nice.

The manager and front desk staff were incredibly unfriendly. The amenities were sub par as the bed had a sink hole in the middle. We went to purchase a $15 bottle of Prosecco and they were charging $45, they held my best friends wedding and didn’t even acknowledge them. It was honestly the very worst experience I have ever had and we will never stay there again. The hostess at the restaurant was so rude as well it was sad. Stay at the pelican or ritz for a true 5 star experience. My family and I truly were devastated and leaving hasn’t ever felt so good! Housekeeping though, extremely kind!
