園景民宿(Gardenview Bed and Breakfast)

Wonderful (quick) visit. Great breakfast. And Mary gave good advice on what to do/eat/etc. And she is fun to just talk with.

My husband and I stayed there for 2 nights. Mary the innkeeper is so warm and welcoming. We had a delicious breakfast made by Mary and enjoyed every bite. The inn has a warm and cozy feel to it. We highly recommend staying there. Thanks Mary from Monica and Gary

Wonderful experience with Mary at Gardenview. She was very accommodating when we had some scheduling changes day of and was very flexible with check in. The house is close to all the mansions, but quiet and off the beaten path. The rooms are immaculate, and the garden and patio out back are peaceful and great for unwinding at the end of the day. Can't say enough good things about breakfast the next day! Would absolutely stay again.

Mary was a GREAT host and this was the best Bed and Breakfast that I have ever stayed in. My wife and I will definitely be back (hopefully sooner than later). A cute place for a couple to stay in a BEAUTIFUL home. Thank you Mary!

staying at gardenview feels like visiting a family friend. mary is so sunny, welcoming and helpful. we were carless in newport & she even gave us a ride to a wedding we were attending. the b&b is nearly as charming as mary is. our downstairs room was big & clean, with access to a lovely garden space. it's within walking distance to newport's famed mansions & about a 10 min car ride or 30 min walk to downtown. homemade breakfast each morning was a highlight. the experience was much more personal (& affordable) than one of newport's big hotels. we couldn't recommend it enough!

Mary Fitzgerald makes you feel like a member of her family. Two rooms in this B&B. We had the first-floor room which opens out to the small but lovely garden. In a word, the Gardenview B&B is charming.

Mary, Gardenview's owner, is a delight. Welcoming, engaging, VERY knowledgeable about Newport, and she cooks GREAT French Toast using Portuguese Sweet Bread. Really good!! My wife and I stayed upstairs. We like a firm mattress and the bed was perfect for us. The sunroofs and windows provide lots of light during the day. The back patio with a rock garden and water fountain is very peaceful for a sit and think or doze. The internet service was plenty fast for our purposes - watching a movie. The house is a ten minute walk from Bellvue Avenue. And, Mary keeps the place spotless: She's serious about "clean" and we appreciated that. We would definitely stay with Mary again.

We stayed with Mary for the weekend (Fri-Sun) and it was a lovely experience. The B&B is very cozy and Mary is a lovely host (the breakfast was wonderful) Plus it's less than 5 minutes from the downtown by car. Definitely would recommend.
