海蘭德酒店(Highlander Hotel ‘A Bespoke Hotel’)

Last minute booking due to equipment failure. Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful - thank you for the tape! - and friendly. Highly recommended.

Beautiful location, hotel was clean and cozy, my 2 dogs absolutely loved it and slept there like babies after an exhausting trip to highlands’ picturesque spots. Dinner was ok, full Scottish breakfast was very good. Wide range of drinks in bar. Would definitely recommend as an overnight stop when travelling in Scottish Highlands.

NICE, but some maintanace need

It was comfortable,clean overall although the TV remote control was dirtyand parking was problemayic the first night as the was a function on in the hotel.Parking no problem the second night. No staff at reception the first night when I came back after check in with a query and bar/ restaurant staff ignored me standing for a long time at reception until I eventually gave up.Checking out also took a while despite it being early and me being the only person there .However overall it was a good stay regarding price, comfort, cleanliness,size of room/ bathroom and hotel location+ I would definitely consider staying there again.

Very nice hotel. Hotel is quite spread out and we were in an annex to the main building (I think most bedrooms are in one or two annexes). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is located in the lovely village of Newtonmore, just off the A9, and is an excellent base for visiting the whole area. Good menu options for dinner (although the batter on my fish was a bit soft!). Breakfast choices were a bit limited but more than adequate.

Really welcoming at the desk, and Newtonmore is a great location for exploring and the Wildlife park, which was the main reason for the visit. Rooms clean and have everything required. The bar and restaurant were nice with great service. Hotel looks a little dated from the outside, and in places inside, but don't let this put you off, it's a hidden gem and we'll be back! 1 adult and 2 children in a triple room.

Staff at check in and check out both friendly and efficient. Room was next to road, close to road and traffic noise was very evident. Window appeared to be single glazed and old wooden type so noise was noticeable. Floor also creaked. New mattress needed as could feel springs. Shower was good, good pressure. Time to consider stopping using small miniature in plastic bottles for gel etc.

The hotel room was really good for a family in that there was plenty of room between the beds, there was a large entrance area for jackets, clothes and cases. It is also very handy for the Folk Muesum and the Wildlife Park
