Ambiente der Lodge ist ausgezeichnet. Leider kein Fluss vorhanden, da es nicht geregnet hat. Es steht und fällt alles mit dem Wasser im Fluss. Normalerweise Hippos und Zebras vor der Tür, bei uns nur Rinder, Esel und Ziegen. Ausflug „Full Day Moremi“ mit Guide Puloso war erste Sahne (300.- € p.P.). Essen nur mittelmäßig da Pizza und Hamburger; kann ich auch zu Hause essen!

Die Zimmer der Lodge sind sauber und modern eingerichtet. Das Essen war hervorragend und die Mitarbeiter in Bar und Restaurant sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Anlage ist recht schön! Nach unserer Ankunft am Nachmittag konnten wir sogar noch einen Mokoro Trip buchen. Die Dame an der Rezeption hat für uns sogar noch einen Game-drive für den nächsten Tag arrangiert, (bei einem lokalen Anbieter sogar günstiger). Der Trip war ein sehr schönes Erlebnis und wir hatten einen sehr freundlichen Guide!

À part la vue magnifique sur la rivière, hôtel tout à fait moyen surtout par rapport aux autres magnifiques lodges de notre périple. Personnel pas particulièrement avenant et souriant, dîner et petit déjeuner plus que moyens. Chaleur atroce dans la chambre. Piscine pas très propre. Bref pas terrible !

We were disappointed about our stay at the lodge. The rooms are dark and do not have nice lights, its not cosy (we had rooms in the second row, not river-side). Considering the comfort and look & feel of the rooms they are very overpriced. Staff was not very friendly and they looked bored. Breakfast was included but was very poor. The garden was nice and well maintained. We wouldnt stay here again.

jolie lodge au bord de thamalakane, les petits chalets sont très jolie avec vu sur le fleuve. Certains ont plus de vue que d'autres. Les chambres sont bien aménagées avec une grande salle de douche, une petite terrasse avec 2 fauteuils. Bon repas avec sur le fleuve, début aout 2023, nous avons pu faire du mokoro , mais pas la croisière de nuit, le niveau de l'eau étant pas assez élevé. Personnel très sympathique, nous avons passé un super moment.

Situated 10 mins outside Maun, we stayed for 1 night on our way to the Okavango Delta. The lodge and the little huts are charming and clean with a nice view to the river bed which unfortunately was dried up. The staff was very friendly. The evening meal and breakfast were good but little choice. Butter and Jam came in little plastic jars and I was told to only order two toppings for an omelette. Really? That was the only lodge that did that during our three weeks travel. Overall good for 1 night stopover but wouldn’t want to stay longer.

Le lodge est très bien situé, au calme au bord de la rivière du même nom que l hôtel. La chambre est correcte Attention aux moustiques très nombreux. Le personnel est très sympathique mais un peu lent. La nourriture est excellente. Plusieurs activités à faire notamment du bateau dans le delta de l Okavango

We had a comfortable stay. The food was tasty, but we were not aware that the dinner was not included in or booking. The location is well and close to the airport. We managed to do some birding in the morning. Pleasant overnight stay location.

What a beautiful place! It is safe. The hippos in the river keeps one entertained with their calling. Lechwe and cattle to be seen too. Crocodiles are lurking, so keep kids away from the river. There is a beautiful restaurant and swimming pool, gardens. Various activities are offered. The staff are well trained and very friendly

Die Lodge hat eine vorzügliche Lage, mit schönem Blick auf den Fluss und macht einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Die Chalets sind schön und geräumig und mit Terrasse. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist allerdings etwas dürftig. Für diese Preisklasse fehlt zumindest Klimaanlage und ein Kühlschrank. Kaffee/Tee, sowie Badeutensilien wurden erst am zweiten Tag ergänzt. Der Empfang war etwas zu professionell und unpersönlich. Die Hilfe für das Gepäck hat vehement Trinkgeld eingefordert, hat aber daraufhin gar nichts bekommen. Das Servicepersonal im Restaurantbereich war hingegen sehr zuvorkommend und rasch, auch die Küche soll gelobt werden. In der Nacht sind Hippos direkt bis zum Chalet gekommen.

This lodge is lovely and peaceful, and each room has a great view of the river. The meals were good and they have a lovely dining area that overlooks the river as well. The staff were very helpful, kind and professional. A delayed flight caused me to have to change my booking at the last minute and the response from the lodge was very understanding. I missed a night's stay and I really wish I'd been able to stay that extra night. It's a lovely location, a bit of a drive outside of Maun but on the route to Moremi, which was convenient for me.

Die Lodge besticht durch eine sehr großzügige und gepflegte Anlage direkt am Wasser. Die Chalets sind sehr gemütlich und geräumig gestaltet, jedes Zimmer hat eine eigene kleine Terrasse mit Blick auf den Hippo-bevölkerten Fluss. Das Essen auf der wunderbar gelegenen Terrasse war lecker, der Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Die Lodge liegt malerisch am Fluss, in dem die Hippos regelmäßig zu bewundern sind! Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Kelly von der Rezeption hat uns bei einer krankheitsbedingten Umbuchung bei der Kommunikation mit unserem lokalen Reiseveranstalter sofort und sehr zuverlässig geholfen! Die Bungalows sind sehr schön eingerichtet und super sauber!

It is a wonderful venue to stay, very central to visit the bush. Be aware that a lot of tour groups visit the lodge. Therefor service at the restaurant can be slow for individual guest. We stayed for 4 nights and only saw the managing couple one evening, otherwise no managers? The staff are very friendly.
