We did not get checked in or was able to stay there. We arrived at 4am this morning to check in and they refused us check in and we had to sleep in my car this morning. We called at 8am to check in and they refused us so we got no room, no way to cook our food, no way to get a shower or change clothes. We found a Porta potty and got changed in there went to our conference and when finished still would not be allowed to check in. I will never recommend this place to anyone..They are down right horrible and because we couldn't check in we cut our conference short and drove back home.

Stayed here for one night during Parents’ Weekend. Considering how affordable the rate was, the Inn provided great value. The room was clean and had two double beds, cable TV, an arm chair with small ottoman and a usable desk. The Wi-Fi was free and fast and I was able to catch up late at night on a show that I was binge watching using my Amazon Firestick TV which easily connected to the WiFi. The linens and towels weren’t old. I brought my own shampoo, soap and washcloth; so, I don’t know about the Terra Green soap, shampoo/conditioner and lotion which are supposed to be environmentally friendly. Best of all, the staff were a pleasure with which to deal. Eric and Nick were friendly and made me feel welcomed like a returning valued guest even though it was my first visit. Coffee and tea pods were available downstairs but I didn’t buy any as I was taking my kid out for breakfast. Considering the cost of the accommodations, I didn’t mind doing without these amenities in my room or for free downstairs. If I lived further away from the campus, I would definitely consider staying at the Rutgers Inn and Conference Center more frequently.

This is our 1st visit for a Football game. We were very pleased with what we have experienced so far. The rooms are very quaint and very clean. Also, the girls at the front desk provided great customer service...Go Rutgers!!!!

Clean and great staff. Quiet and pretty location. Beautiful grounds and deers wandering the grounds. History of property with a historical mansion attached to Inn. Educational and interesting. Love the game room. Loved our stay there! Would recommend staying here.

It is a good value for the price. There aren't many other hotels in the area that are as cost effective. The rooms are a bit smaller than the look in the photos. If you are just looking for a place to stay for the night (as opposed to multiple nights), this could work for you.

My family stayed here for a pit stop on a return journey from a road trip and it served the purpose. The room was clean and had what we needed. The location was quiet and walkable to restaurants. It was a much better value over a nearby hotel we stayed at on our outbound journey. My only minor comments for improvements are that the fridge buzzed quite loudly and the bathroom has very limited counter space for toiletries. A shelf above the light switch would do the trick over having to put my toiletry bag on the floor. For the price of this place, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The Rutgers Hotel is clean, offers complimentary on site parking and is located on the beautiful Rutgers campus. We saw deer from our window. Great location. Quiet and private yet not far from everything. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was basic, nothing fancy. We had a microwave and refrigerator in the room.
