Basic but ok. Service was excellent though. Owner was very accommodating.

The place is bad. We travelled with dogs and yes, we get what’s left usually but this was the pits. Asked if our dogs shed? What would it matter with the carpet as is? Everything is damaged.the doors are broken the light was missing a bulb - the entrance door had gaps underneath. The blind in the kitchen was gross.

Was put off immediately by the musty smell of wet carpet in the office. The rooms were VERY dated with basic amenities and smelt old. The gardens were overgrown with weeds. Very tight parking area. No love given to this property by the owners.

We were charged for an extra person even though we were 5 people in a 5 person room. Everything you looked at wasn’t in the right shape. Motel parking is awkward.

Thank you. The only thing that I need to address was the towel was not enough as I add one person. Plus the refund that they owed me it didn't come through. The place was good. Enough space but toiletry resources was not enough. For example towels and toilet paper.

The motel met my needs for a place to sleep. My room was larger than I expected / remembered booking so if you are looking for a motel with a full kitchen, this will meet your needs! The internet didn't work one day but otherwise it worked for a brief stop in Dunedin.

This is the best motel/hotel you will find in Dunedin. In my opinion, the rate/price is very cheap and the luxury and location is premium. Reception was the most polite, lovely, warm, friendly I've ever encountered in New Zealand. The housekeeping was daily, midday, and very polite, and efficient yet pristine clean. The whole experience there was totally excellent. Cosy clean room. Polite, friendly, lovely staff. Great housekeeping. The design of the building was very ideal. Extremely close to a dairy, university, grass field, and heaps of food outlets. The best place I've stayed in Dunedin and I've stayed in 5 hotel/motels so far. Also the neighbours were super friendly and polite across the fence. Thank you so much to the management. Best recommended accommodation in Dunedin. The people who post negative reviews must be rude and overly entitled and is an unfair reflection on the quality.

Handy for our purposes and cheap but a little tired and run down. Service was good. Did the job for us. Tight vehicle access.

Filthy bedding, furniture. Stains on chairs. Pillow (singular) slab of foam which made sleeping impossible. Normally there is spare bedding. For the two nights we stayed, we paid extra for our non-shed dog, as that’s considered cleaning fee. There was no cleaning done during our stat only the bins emptied, as the teen I took with me removed so much dirt and rubbish between the couch cushions to find 2 x $1 coins. I was disappointed, as it’s so close to everything. But really shouldn’t be described as a motel.

Nice rooms. Very friendly and easy to deal with hosts

When we checked in it started out great they showed us two rooms to pick from however neither of them was the room we booked. He then said someone else was in the room we booked so he didn’t know what to do. He said I should have booked with them directly instead of using ******* and then I would have gotten the room I wanted. We needed somewhere to stay as being a long weekend we wouldn’t have been able to find something else to accomodate 5 people so chose one of the rooms. I asked for a discount and they gave us a voucher for a restaurant that they also owned so we ended up giving them more money instead of getting a discount! Parking and driveway was very tight with no real roadside parking either. We will not be staying there again and would not recommend to anyone.

The stay was good property could do with a little freshen up lights a bit brighter as were quite dull in kitchen and maybe a bit of pain and updating

Amy was super helpful in helping me organise late check-in, and I'm super grateful that she dealt with my late night call when we went to the wrong door of our motel room! I think the room smelt a little of cigarette but we quickly adjusted, but I imagine it's left over from when people could smoke in motel rooms as the decor was outdated but still a really great room to stay in. Amy was able to give us separate beds after initially telling us there was only a queen bed available, so I'm grateful for that too. Overall, we had a great stay and I wish I'd been able to stay longer than we did! Would definitely stay there again!
