We had a terrible and traumatizing stay for 2 nights. Our room temperature was super hot, the first night it was 78 degrees Fahrenheit through out the night and the 2nd night it was on 93 degrees Fahrenheit. We complained about it at the front desk and their excuse was that they don’t have the A/C option on their thermostat on winter time. It wasn’t even that cold in Queens, NY so we were tortured by the heat. And they didn’t want to issue us a refund. Never again are we staying in this area and lesson learned. I suggest it’s worth booking on expensive hotels in Manhattan area rather than outside of Manhattan at this time of the month. Uber is also very expensive when you book this far out from the City.

One staff of reception requested my card even though I explained that I've already paid hotel fee before I arrived at hotel several months ago by paypal. He explained he just needs for checking my ID. When I check out and checked my bank account , I noticed unexpected money was taken out. I talked with a manger and she told me sorry and she corrected it for releasing . Though, the money is still in the pending and was not cleared in my bank account .

The room was pretty small. They didn’t have extra pillows and the blankets were extremely thin. The top blanket was a top sheet, not a quilt/comforter. The pillows weren’t full/standard size. Hallway was always stinky. Like garbage/stale cigarettes. We would have liked more options at breakfast so we didn’t bother eating there the second morning. Cereal options were not varied and were in incorrectly labels containers. Veggie scrambled eggs were inedible. No meat options (bacon/sausage). Food that ran out was not quickly replaced so we didn’t get some of what we wanted (croissants). There was a hole in the wall in the shower where someone didn’t patch after replacing a shower curtain. The curtain rod was tilted so much that the curtain couldn’t stay closed near the shower head, so we had to hold it closed to avoid getting water everywhere. There were not a lot of outlets. My room key stopped working every other time I tried to use it- So we had to keep going to the front desk for new keys. It has a cute little off-street pull-in area which was convenient for Uber pick up and drop off. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Close/walking distance to a few eating options. Reallllly great Asian food down the street. Quick Uber ride to the LIRR. Quickly Uber ride to the UBS arena.

Really perfect little hotel for my stay. I walked a lot around Bayside and was very pleased with the incredible food options nearby. The hotel was great, very clean, and the breakfast was superb! This was my first visit to Bayside and it's a truly charming town. I felt very safe walking everywhere.
