馬弗利酒店(The Mafolie Hotel)

We loved our stay! The staff was super helpful! Great breakfast, wonderful mattress, nice travel sized shampoo/soap/lotion. They had several things for purchase at the front desk like a razor for $1.50 (which also had a mini shave cream), drinks, deodorant. It is up on the hill so you do need to taxi to get downtown but there is a bar and grill right up the hill (wouldn't advice people with small kids or elderly to try this walk- we did it as mid 30 yr olds and it will put your legs to work) and it was great too. Overall, I'd definitely come back.

We had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying the pool, food and drinks at Hotel Mafolie. The staff was was great from check-in, at the bar and at dinner. And you can’t beat the delicious breakfast made-to-order. We will be back.

We only stayed one night at the Mafolie, to break up our travel to St John. From the very start, the staff was fantasic, as were the views from the pool and some rooms. We were greeted so warmly by Elizabeth at the front desk, who was able on this particular day to give us a choice of three rooms including a junior suite, at the price we booked. The property is on the hillside, so a number of steps between several levels. But she helped with our baggage. I enjoyed a beautiful late afternoon swim in the pool, perfect after the long flight. The dining room is closed on Tuesdays, but she recommended a very quaint restaurant just up the road (beware that while the walk is only 10 minutes, it would be advisable not to do in the dark; the restaurant gave us a free ride back to the hotel after dinner). Breakfast was included at the hotel, in their fantastic ocean view dining area. This was a full service cooked breakfast! Great start to our first day in the USVI. We would definitely return to this hotel!

The staff at the property were incredible! From check in to dining and everything in between. Amazing view!!

Hotel hours are 8 AM- 8PM. No efforts were made to account for our 8:15PM arrival. It took an hour to have remote staff arrive to let us in our room. Not what you want to have happen after a long day travel. No coffee was available anywhere on premise for early risers until the restaurant opened. Very bare bones room. Only redeeming quality was fantastic view and good breakfast.

Great views, wonderful staff! Rooms are basic, but clean. Bathrooms a nice size but could use a renovation. Great for a one night stay and a great value!

If you want to avoid the resorts and like a unique place to stay away from the crowds, this is it. Mafolie is fairly centrally located on St Thomas so it's an easy drive to all locations, not that anything is more than 20-30mins away. It's a mountainside hotel so lots of hills and stairs but I he views are spectacular. We stayed in one of the lower "bungalows" in the property overlooking a main road so it can get noisy but the privacy and views made it a good tradeoff. Restaurant has great food and the made-to-order breakfast menu included in our stay was well worth it. Definitely recommend for those that want a place to stay and have convenience to get out and explore.
