I tend to travel regularly and Premier Inn iis always my favourite. However, this is by far the worst customer service orientated Premier Inn. Let's start with the beginning, my internet was not working so couldn't do the booking, I've arrived at reception and I've been communicated that they can't do the booking, and the only way to book it's online ( bizarre), in the end after 20 minutes a new receptionist appear and suprise she creates a booking. The rooms are nicely and the place and view of the restaurant is to die for. At 19:00 I decided to get some food, upon going down reception full of passengers to be checked in, people waiting to be sat at the restaurant, but guess what not even ONE employee at either reception or restaurant, after long time wait to be sat down they tell me they are fully booked (with only 3 tables) and that I should come back at 20:00 (no problem), waiting for right time to go down, surprise again a whole disaster no employees to be found, people waiting at reception, people waiting at restaurant. Now it's 21:34 I've sat down looking at the menu for past 40 minutes. I've got myself an uber east in the room in the end. This might be the first hotel that manages itself. Overall, the room and bed is good value, 8 min walk from train station and majority of surroundings. Beautiful view, such a shame to lakc completely even the most basic customer service.
