Front desk was very professional, and the hotel was very upscale. Amazing food at the restaurant inside the hotel.

This is THE Premier hotel in the Novi area. I've stayed at almost all of the local hotels across Hilton & Marriott and this one beats them all. Worth every penny to have such a clean room, great staff and a fabulous restaurant all in one well-maintained hotel. I'm sort of surprised it's labelled a 3-star hotel but I guess the rating system has changed. In my past this would have been a 4-star hotel. Excellent location with lots to do & amazing restaurants within a stone's throw of the front door. Their Executive Floor is key-accessible only so only those who have a room on that floor will be in the hallways and the robes are nice! The snack center is the best in town. Room service has been awesome with fast service & great food. Everyone in the local area knows & loves the Toasted Oak. For someone with allergies, this hotel has all the right things in place to bring me back. I've been here for 10-day stays recurring this last month & will be back to do that again right after Chris**as. Rooms are really spacious, allowing for lots of luggage. If you want top-notch service, great beds, and an all-around great visit, stop by Renaissance Hotel in Novi. You won't be disappointed.

Terrible restaurant. Breakfast took 2 hrs and there was no one in there Front desk rude. Nice rooms. Do not recommend. I've been a loyal Marriott customer for years, but this experience was dreadful . No customers service at all - staff walks around with their iPads but ignore you

My husband and a friend came to Michigan to see the Detroit Lions play the Atlanta Falcons. The hotel was fairly new and clean. Our room was comfortable and cozy. The staff were professional and courteous. We especially loved the hotel restaurant; breakfast was really good but not complementary.

This is an above average hotel. It is located across the parking lot from a shopping mall not far from the I-96 freeway exit. There are multiple restaurants nearby. I am a lifetime Bonvoy Titanium member and stayed for three nights while traveling to the Detroit area for a trade show. Check in went smoothly. Unfortunately I did not receive any kind of room upgrade but that’s fine. The room was a decent size, very clean and well furnished. Bed felt pretty comfortable to me. The hotel was pretty quiet - my room faced the inside courtyard. As mentioned in other reviews, this hotel does not have a lounge. Elite Bonvoy members can grab all the snacks you want from the kitchenette/store next to the desk. I believe they closed their lounge during Covid and have continued with this offering. I ate room service on two nights. It was pretty good. No problem placing the order and it was delivered quickly. I ate breakfast on one morning - it’s free for elite members or you can waive it for points. It was a good buffet. Overall a good hotel and I would have no issue coming back.

Decent hotel next to a mall, rooms were large. Beds were awfully uncomfortable, even my kids had backaches the next morning! Most disappointing was the 'executive floor', which does not exist. Do not pay for this upgrade, there is no executive floor or executive lounge. You can have some free snacks and soda/water from the little store next to registration. This is not honest, and when I questioned this at the time of registration the young lady basically shrugged and offered no apology.

Stayed at the Baronette 7/16 thru 7/19. From check-in to check-out the staff was just outstanding. Very friendly and accommodating. The standout however was housekeeping. At 9AM housekeeping was busy so when I got back to the room at 3PM all done. Probably one of the cleanest best maintained hotel stays I have ever experienced. The restaurant in the hotel was very good and so was the bar. My only complaint was that it took forever to get hot water. A minor issue. I will definitely stay at the Baronette Novi on my next visit.

The Good: location, decor, staff The Bad: pricey This is an upper end full service hotel with a great little restaurant and cute garden nook. The place is older but it’s been well maintained and the decor has been updated in the last couple of years. My room was well decorated, scrupulously clean and cleaned. Both the Wi-Fi and the connection to the tv were quick. The shower had great water pressure and nice towels. The Road Word : it’s worth a 20 mile drive for an upper end hotel.
