湯加旅館(House of Tonga)

This was a great place to stay. The room was very spacious, glad to have hot water. Pretty clean except for some cockroaches here and there which is expected due to humidity and mostly affected the bathroom area at night (coming up through drains). Aircon works great. Bus is just across the road. Great free breakfast and variety. It can be noisy as it’s on the corner of the main road but didn’t bother us that much. Not many food choices close by. Was very clean and had great staff as well. Very accomodating for early check in if available

As I didn't need flash or expensive, this hotel was perfect for my week long stay in Nuku'alofa. The hotel is small (just 7 or 9? rooms), but appears to be quite new. The bedrooms and bathrooms are modern, the bedding is excellent and everything is very clean. There is a nice self-serve buffet breakfast in the dining room and the staff are especially friendly and helpful. If I return to Nuku'alofa I will stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the House of Tonga hotel. Our room was large, bright, quiet and clean, with a cupboard for storage, anir conditioning and a good fridge. The hotel has a roundabout outside and lots of passing traffic. It was entertaining watching this from the breakfast room. Breakfast was the same each day but plenty to choose from, cereal, toast, fruit, eggs, bacon and hash browns. The staff were friendly and helpful and we had laundry down very cheaply. Great 🙂

The closest decent cafe (Friend’s Cafe) is 20mins walk from House of Tonga. It could be challenging when the weather was extreme (super hot/humid, or during pouring rain,) to get around on-foot. The room comes with an A/C unit, which is essential. Owner Julie and local staffs were kind and helpful. A decent place to stay when visiting Tonga with a budget.

Booked for three people, was only 2x towels etc. Mold throughout the bathroom. When we arrived there was no tea and coffee and there was 2x dirty cups that had been used already on the bench.

The staff at House of Tonga were so lovely. The room was spacious and comfortable and I will happily stay there again when I next visit.

I stayed at the house of Tonga for 5 nights and awe boy. I was truly surprised with the cleaniness and keep of the hotel. Now its a 7 room hotel. Rooms are absolutely cleaned may i say speak and span. The breakfast is good. Prepared well and the lady at breakfast is awesome. All staff are friendly. So if you in Tonga. I would say stay at house of Tonga.
