Gutes Hotel Top für Skifahrer Essen war sehr gut. Zentrale Lage im Ort. Wir als Paar haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Spa schön die Sauna im 4. etwas klein Leider ein Bereich für Sauna und baden( schwimmen ) nur bekeidet. Sollte bei Erwachsenen Hotel eigendlich nicht nötig sein. Diese sauna war ausreichend groß..Aber wie gesagt nur bekleidet. Mittagsjause war immer Abwechslungsreich. Wir kommen gern mal wieder.

Das Zimmer war sehr schön und jeden Tag gut versorgt. Das Team ist höflich und sehr hilfsbereit. Frühstück, Nachmittagsjause und Abendessen haben uns gut geschmeckt; ein gute Auswahl, jeden Tag. Einfach ein sehr tollen Platz zum Ferien.

Room 110 is really single occupancy but they squeeze two beds into it. Tiny triangle for a balcony. Not even space for one person to sit down. Teeny corner shower. Only big enough for children. No way of controlling the room temperature. Small singles pushed together beds. The food is not good quality and when I asked to speak to the manager he wouldn’t see me. Staff lovely but lacking customer service skills. The wine list has zero tasting notes or description at all. Not even alcohol content. Austria accommodation and food is usually so much better than Josl. I can’t recommend this hotel at all.

The Josl is a lovely hotel close to the ski slopes in Obergurgl. The room we had was on the first floor; it was spacious and very comfortable. On the upper floor there is a very pleasant spa, with a small but nice indoor/outdoor pool. The ski room isn’t the biggest but was rarely busy. Food in the Joel is of an exceptionally high standard, with plenty of options to suit all tastes. The staff who serve on at mealtimes and at the bar are all exceptionally friendly. It was my birthday whilst we were at the Josl, and towards the end of our evening meal I was presented with a lovely cake. Non of my family had told the hotel staff it was my birthday so this was a very kind and unexpected surprise. I would definitely recommend the Josl, and cannot think of anything that wasn’t ‘just right’. Thank you to all the Josl staff for a wonderful stay in your hotel.

We stayed in the hotel via Crystal Ski and had a lovely week. The hotel is really central, just around the corner from the Hohe Mut gondola, the piste ends just across the road from the door to the hotel boot room. The rooms are lovely, super comfy beds and they are happy to provide different pillow etc. if needed. The staff are fantastic, Mark in the restuarant and Annet in the bar were both super friendly and attentive (Annet makes the best cocktails!) I agree with other travels re the tempature - particularly the restaurant in the evening - very warm. The bar was comfortable though and we spent a lot of time in there! (the food in general was excellent) The rooftop spa is lovely, we used that almost every day. Our room was on the first floor facing the road - so a little noisy at times but nothing major. If you're a light sleeper request a room facing the side not on the road

Great location for the main lifts in the centre of the village. Superb value for money . Food was delicious with a choice of main course from the set 6 course menu. The spa area is stunning and is perfect for relaxing those muscles after a day on the slopes . The staff were all very jolly and helpful and provided excellent customer service . Couldn’t fault the hotel and would definitely stay there again
