凱爾寧酒店(Hotel Kernen)

Wie jedes Jahr: die sonnige Terrasse ist unser Lieblingsplatz. Gutes, preiswertes Essen incl. Fondues, Blick auf die Skipisten, freundlicher Service. Bei Kälte liegen Lammfelle bereit. Direkt am Bahnhof gelegen. Von und Zur Piste nur wenige Schritte

Ein gut geführtes Freizeit- und Sporthotel, passend eingerichtet, gute Küche, zuvorkommende Bedienung. Bei der Zimmerauswahl zu beachten, dass die zur Strasse gelegenen Zimmer bei geöffnetem Fenster dem Verkehrslärm ausgesetzt sind. Ansonsten vorbehaltlos zu empfehlen.

Un hôtel-restaurant 3 étoiles qui en vaut 5! Nous avons fêté l'anniversaire de maman avec toute la famille (10 adultes et 2 enfants) dans cet hôtel que nous ne connaissions pas et quelle chance nous avons eu de réserver un week-end chez eux. Le personnel tant le patron, que les personnes de la réception, du service et d'entretien ont été EXCEPTIONNELS. D'une sympathie et d'un enthousiasme incroyable. Les chambres sont petites mais d'une propreté parfaite, l'hôtel est décoré avec beaucoup de goût et de soin. Le repas a été excellent et de qualité. N'hésitez surtout pas à réserver dans cet hôtel super sympathique vous ne le regretterez pas! Et si vous êtes avec des enfants, ces derniers seront extrêmement bien reçus, les nôtres on été enchantés. Merci encore à toute la team de l'Hôtel Kernen, vous avez rendu la fête encore plus belle.

+: Belle vue sur les montagnes, petit balcon agréable, bonne literie, chambre spacieuse, parking, restaurant, petit déjeuner excellent. - : Odeurs d'égouts dans les WC et de renfermé dans la chambre, nous avons dû aérer fortement les lieux. Le restaurant est vieillot et il n'y a pas de bar d'hôtel sympa pour boire un cocktail.

Notre rêve serait d'y retourner au plus vite, tellement cet hôtel nous a plu! Nous y avons séjourné durant 4 jours du 5 au 9 juin 2021. D'emblée, nous avons reçu un accueil des plus chaleureux de la réceptionniste et de M. Bruno Kernen. Les chambres sont très confortables et propres. Les chambres au nord sont un peu plus bruyantes du fait de la route mais cela ne nous a pas gêné. Nous avions opté pour la demi-pension et ce fut un régal chaque soir. Tous les plats sont frais, très bien présentés et les portions généreuses. Le café et le gâteau sont offerts l'après-midi. Le personnel ainsi que le patron sont très sympathiques et très attentionnés. Ce fut une très belle découverte pour nous et nous disons un très grand merci et bravo à toute l'équipe. C'est sûr, nous reviendrons!

Das Ambiente ist mit dem ganzen Holz sehr gemütlich. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gibt gratis Parkplätze und ist direkt neben dem Bahnhof gelegen. Das Abendessen war auch sehr lecker. Auch die Bedienung freundlich.

Einmal mehr ein toller Start ins Wochenende bei Kernens auf der Terrasse. Der Burger und die super freundliche Bedienung machen immer wieder den Unterschied. Eine Wohlfühloase im Saanenland mit Suchtcharakter. Tolles Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

We were upgraded to a "south" facing room. It was quite roomy, furnished with new-looking pine furniture (desk, small table, 3 chairs). Ceiling lined with pine planks, rustic curtains. Very nice little balcony (table + 2 chairs). Size of the room more than adequate and SPOTLESSLY clean (like everything else in the hotel). Bathroom looked like it was remodelled yesterday (clean!!). The large bed (king size) very comfortable. This side of the hotel very quiet, in spite of facing the rail station. Almost no noise from fellow guests. Possible minuses: No minibar, no coffee maker, but an immense menu for available room service. On the main floor a cozy "lobby"/reading room with soft (extremely low!) sofas - again very quiet and inviting. Every afternoon on the main floor free coffee/tea and cake (homemade). The restaurant is not inexpensive, but the food is exceptional, as is the service (the kitchen serves food continuously from lunch to late night). Make reservations early, since the place fills up fast. The personnel very capable and efficient. Kitchen a bit slow (but not by Swiss standards...). But the wait is worth it. The breakfast buffet is sumptuous: I.e. smoked salmon; cold cuts, a big selection of local cheeses, eggs cooked to order (diy), terriffic breads. Free parking; electric car charging station on premises. The owner Bruno Kernen sees to it that everything runs as it should and is very personable and most helpful (as is the whole staff). In sum: Everything is as described in the official description and ratings. But the reality is much, much better than the theory promises.

We had a 5 day stay here. The hotel was excellent. The staff were very friendly and would do anything to help. Our rooms were small, with very comfortable beds, shutters for black out effect, the shower was excellent . The location was great for skiing. The ski hire shop was across the road, the main chair lift was a very short walk away and the train station was across the road. The resort was excellent for the kids learning to ski, with lots of long blue runs. We stayed bed and breakfast, breakfast was continental style and very good. We ate dinner twice in the hotel, the restaurant was always busy and the food was good. Bruno, the owner was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. A lovely place, thanks !
