The hotel is very nice but for charging such a huge premium, there were a couple service items that left me feeling ripped off.
It started with the fact that my wife and I were not offered a welcome drink. The people before and after us received one. But not us.
Next they promote that they have s’mores each night as an amenity. When we asked, they said they ran out of marshmellows. They proposed to give us mini marshellows (the kind you put in hot chocolate) and then proceeded to try to not give enough gram crackers to serve our 3 people.
Finally, my wife and daughter booked spa appointments. I asked if it was possible for me to use the common area of the spa while I waited for them in between services. I was told ‘yes of course.’ But when I went down, they said I could not do this.
Each of these individually are small things, but for what they charge, including a daily amenity fee, it was disappointing.
