坎納達瓜湖畔小屋(The Lake House on Canandaigua)

The location of the property is gorgeous! It is lakefront. The rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed with an all white color scheme. The mattress was very comfortable and the sheets were luxurious. They were unable to get us into our room until an hour and a half after the hotel's 3:00 regular check-in time. Our reservation was for a town king suite with a tub and a fireplace but we were given an ADA room with a shower and no fireplace. The shower did not have a curtain and the bathroom floor flooded a bit. We hope to give the hotel one more visit to see if things improve! All in all we had a lovely time at the Lake House in Canandaigua!

The property was overall nice, but i had some concerns when I saw human hair all over the shower wall in our suite. Also our couch had few stains and when asked to clean it they came to clean it. Cleanliness is very important for me so it disturbed me to see stains in the sofa and hair in the shower. In the shower the water flow was very strong and it would spill and also accumulate on the floor for a while. Beside that , i wish they had slippers available in the room. In room dining was not too great. We asked a plate a cheese and for 39$ it was very scarce. We did enjoy The Rose tavern for dining. The food was tasty and the service very nice.

This one of the premium hotel experiences in New York State. Fantastic restaurants beautiful rooms, lakefront experience, great pool and gym. Country club like atmosphere high end Manhatten hotel experience (think Plaza or Lowell). Finger lakes are a hidden treasure and so is this hotel. Make this your FIRST choice for a Finger Lakes experience it certainly will be ours from now on.

The hotel is very nice but for charging such a huge premium, there were a couple service items that left me feeling ripped off. It started with the fact that my wife and I were not offered a welcome drink. The people before and after us received one. But not us. Next they promote that they have s’mores each night as an amenity. When we asked, they said they ran out of marshmellows. They proposed to give us mini marshellows (the kind you put in hot chocolate) and then proceeded to try to not give enough gram crackers to serve our 3 people. Finally, my wife and daughter booked spa appointments. I asked if it was possible for me to use the common area of the spa while I waited for them in between services. I was told ‘yes of course.’ But when I went down, they said I could not do this. Each of these individually are small things, but for what they charge, including a daily amenity fee, it was disappointing.

The property is on a beautiful lake and has all the amenities one would want for a long weekend/short vacation. The rooms and overall property is very dirty however. Even after we requested the room to get cleaned there were q-tips, random dirt towels on the floor, dirty bathroom. The spa area and bathrooms in the main building are quite dingy as well. We have noted this to the receptionist but were completely ignored. Could be a real 4 star hotel but needs to take cleanliness more seriously.

The room furnishings were disappointing. At check in the host was rude. Very over priced for what was offered. Would definitely not go there again and would not recommend to anyone.

Check in was a problem. Room not ready. Not enough staff. Not pleasant experience. For this price unacceptable

The spa was very dirty and the rooms are LOUD

The staff and property has been very nice so far. Champaign at check in. Upgraded rooms. We feel welcome and appreciated.
