住宅酒店(The Residence Hotel)

Väldigt fina rum med bra utsikt, bra AC som man kunde ha på hela natten utan att bli störd. Tyvärr var väl det som hotellet kan erbjuda. Receptionen var svår att hitta och även om det fanns en pool var den inte ett dugg lockande. Fin strand i närheten men inga solstolar erbjöds av hotellet utan man var isåfall tvungen att betala grannhotellet. Helt okej frukost. Allt som allt så var hotellet för dyrt men väldigt bra rum.

L’hôtel où l’Apart’hôtel The Résidence se trouve sur le complexe hôtelier où se trouve également The Méridien. Le stationnement est facile, l’accueil du personnel était très agréable, nous avons rencontré différentes personnes, toutes aussi agréables les unes que les autres. Nous arrivons dans notre chambre Garden 3, face aux rochers, sympathique même si la vue n’est pas ce que nous pouvions attendre. Le complexe hôtel se trouve à 10km du centre de Split. Il dispose d’une plage publique mais accessible très facilement 100m. Il dispose d’une piscine dont nous n’avons pas profité par choix. De très bons restaurants sont présent sur le complexe, nous avons notamment dîner au restaurant 7 Palms que nous recommandons. Quant à la chambre, nous avons très mal dormi les deux nuits, la première nuit uniquement à cause de literie trop usée, trop molle. La seconde nuit, à cause de la literie et du manque d’insonorisation avec les chambres voisines. La literie aurait été de meilleure qualité, nous vous aurions mis 4/5. En l’état je ne recommande pas cet hôtel, c’est le seul de notre road trip en Croatie qui nous a déçu. Mon commentaire a pour but de faire réagir la direction afin qu’elle améliore la qualité des prestations, vous avez l’emplacement et un personnel formidable, c’est dommage.

Booked a holiday through British Airways and stayed in this hotel for a week but wouldn't go back for various reasons. the bed linen wasn't changed all week and no cleaning done, just the bed remade and fresh towels left. Our room was situated over the restaurant and was very noisy until 1am the first night, asked for a different room but was told there was none available. It is noisy all day, night and early in the morning when they are setting up. One of the main things i look for is a nice outdoor pool, this looked ok in the website photo but the photographer needs an award for the photo as it is nothing like this in reality. It is the tiniest pool i have ever seen and only has 6 sun loungers, that gives you an idea on how small it actually is, its also next to a carpark and main walk way so not ideal. This was a big disappointment for me and i would never of booked this hotel if i'd known the pool was like this. The hotel is right by the beach and is a nice beach, small stones but not too uncomfortable. You can use the hotel facilities next door (including their sun loungers on the beach) but this costs 35 euros each per day so is pricey. If you walk past the hotel and shops there is a part of beach further down where you can hire just sun loungers at 8 euros per day. The reception area of hotel is actually a small room which we found difficult to find when we arrived on the first night and just kept walking around looking for a main reception area that you would normally get. Can't fault the size of the rooms though, very big with plenty of storage and air con worked very well. Location is a little out of the way with not much to do, we took the bus into Split town several times where there is plenty to do and the main meeting point for going on trips. There is a supermarket a couple of minutes away from the hotel and a couple of eating places, Fabio's is very cheap for food and drink, nothing fancy about it and the locals use it but the pizza is good and the best cappuccino i've tasted. If dining in the evening, check your bill as we got over charged twice by exactly 6 euros by different staff, didn't happen during the day but they were quick to apologise. There are restaurants along the beach but they are quite pricey, the restaurant within the Residence is reasonably priced, only ate evening meals, not sure on the breakfast but know its 15 euros. The bus stop is outside Fabios cafe and runs every 30 mins at a cost of 2.5 euros. If you book one of the trips, go into one of the shops as they are slightly cheaper than the stands on the promenade. Highly recommend the Blue lagoon tour, was awesome and good value.

We had a lovely time in this hotel. It was lovely only complaint was the bed it’s not the bed advertised in the pictures. It was a very hard bed! That is my only complaint very good area in split..plus it would be better if the hotel did an English breakfast. English tea thank you to the residence for a wonderful stay.

* Excellent welcome and service from Mia. She's been very helpful with all our questions throughout our stay. * Our property was excellent and very clean. It also had all the amenities we needed as a family. * Liked that everyone has dedicated parking space. * Great and easy access to the beach. * A lot of supermarkets around. * The pool is small but my kids loved it nonetheless and with the beach literally at your doorstep, it's wasn't really a big deal. * The restaurant downstairs was also good and the staff very welcoming. Small tips for first timers in Croatia: * Generally, do carry some cash with you in addition to your credit/bank card. Some shops are cash only and in restaurants, it is best to tip with cash. * Most ATMs will charge you for taking out money so you're better off taking a lump sum than small amounts and paying fees each time

We were two families who stayed here for a week. The apartments were large and we had two bathrooms in each apartment. The hotel itself felt a bit run down even though the apartments have been renovated. In the apartments there was not enough glass and china, it felt like. The pool is very small and not at all that nice, but you can buy a day pass at the adjacent hotel and then get access to the pool and beach. The hotel staff were helpful in booking transport etc.

We had a great stay at The Residence. The accommodations are basically serviced apartments. There is a reception office for services like beach towels and laundry for a fee. I believe they will arrange transportation for a fee as well. The apartments sit right behind a Marriott resort Le Meridian and you can pay a resort fee to use their facilities. The beach is public however there are umbrellas and loungers for the hotel set out on the beach directly in front of the apartments. We used them without a fee however in peak time I suspect that will not be an option without paying the resort fee. It was a little tricky finding the reception due to the most visible signage leading you to the Le Meridian. For a larger group the water heater may require you to shorten your showers. Overall the location was great. We did encounter a bit of traffic on the main road at most times of the day.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly, trying everything in their power to help make our holiday a memorable one. The apartment was super, clean and tastefully furnished. Our balcony was large, overlooking the sea. This accommodation is superior and was cleaned daily by friendly staff. I strongly recommend this hotel/apartment but recommend that you hire a car because it’s a little off the track. The sea/beach is very near, the clean sea and beach was lovely. Small pebbles, you need swimming shoes to get in the water.
