國敦島灣酒店及度假村(Copthorne Hotel & Resort Bay of Islands)

We stayed in a king superior room and we were pleased with the cleanliness of the room and the view was more then beautiful, I’d definitely recommend staying here to anyone who asks about Copthorne bay of islands. We also ordered the lamb shank and pork belly on the dinner menu and we pleased with that and our room service.. Breakfast was to die for aswell. Would love to stay again.

The Dinner Chef was terrible! Worst dinner ever! It spoiled our whole evening, ruined our celebration & stay! Everything came out separately, 10-15 mins apart ... even the sauce, and when it came out most of it was burnt, chewy, wilted salad, not fresh seafood, people getting wrong orders or didn't get what they ordered at all! We were still hungry & had to buy food off-site even though we were staying there. Fridge froze the milk, missing bits of shower, tennis racquets & balls were old & broken. The standard has dropped & is definitely not what it used to be. One positive was Vasa the Front of Desk Duty Manager and the On-Duty Restaurant Manager who were great to deal with when we complained about the dinner. We weren't the only guests to complain that night. Really disappointed and won't be going back.

Definitely outdated and showing it’s age. Ants all I’ve the bathroom, shower is peeling apart, carpet is stained, phone doesn’t work. But the bed is comfy and the sheets appeared clean so I’ll take what I can get

Front desk welcoming excellent customer service, pool was green not very clean, dinner buffet there were 3 waitresses they gave us drink menus but they were too busy talking to each other and never bothered to see if we wanted drinks.

The hotel is outdated and very expensive for the amenities. The rooms walls are paper thin and you can hear the noise from the rowdy neighbours. The pool is not heated. The room wasn’t clean either

The wooden crate for the cleaning was smack bang in the middle of the hallway making it hard to move past with cases. Cleaning was finished and it was still there in the morning...not sure if this was the norm?
