Heerlijk hotel met de service die vroeger gewoon was. Zeer professioneel personeel. Geen koffiemachine of toaster. Het wordt gebracht. Ruim parkeren, uitstekende WiFi. Prima restaurant. Je hóórt de stilte. Zéér interessant eiland voor de kost. Was geheime Engelse basis. Twee goede pubs in de stad en een interessant kasteel.

First class location in a lovely village with very attentive staff. We were able to have our dogs with us which made all of the difference. Great walks from the doorstep.

Always a treat to return to the Crown and Castle. Quiet location. Excellent staff. Super restaurant.

We had a most enjoyable stay at the Crown & Castle, which is well located off the square in Orford. There are lovely walks around locally and down to the quay and the food was of a very high standard. Would definitely stay there agin and recommend to others.

The a**ospheric hotel is a pleasure to visit and delighted us in every way. The food is excellent, the staff attentive and the room was sparkling and very comfortable. Very hard to fault!

A lovely stay at the Crown and Castle for my husband's birthday. Situated in a convenient location right by the Castle and only a few steps from the main square of Orford, this was the perfect place for a 1-night minibreak. The hotel has been recently refurbished and was clean and comfortable, with modern amenities and quality complimentary toiletries. We were expertly looked after by Tabi on reception, Oleg at dinner - including some great wine recommendations, and John the General Manager at breakfast. All were friendly and welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful.

We went for dinner to celebrate a special birthday and had a really wonderful evening. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was exemplary. Colin and Kate looked after us with that rare combination of efficiency and friendliness, without ever being intrusive, allowing us an intimate celebration in friendly and welcoming surroundings. Thank you to all Crown and Castle staff - both visible and invisible!
