舒適酒店(Comfort Inn)

For an older property it was what is to be expected, carpet smells musky and damp, old moldy orange under the bed, pillows are of poor quality (need to be updated), bathrooms need newer eco-toilets, etc Costly for what you get - should be much lower than $200/night

We were here for one night and requested a ground floor and we received what we asked for. A bonus was that we could back up our car to the sliding doors to unload all our "stuff". The room was clean, and the staff were great. The Hot Breakfast was not too bad, and there are great restaurants within walking distance. Since the room had two queens, there was no armchair, but that was what we booked. The one area for improvement was the quality of the TV picture, but that was minor. Next time we are in the area, we will be back.

Gave Comfort Inn another chance. Unfortunately these properties are basic, and old. They have renovated the property and the rooms are basic. TV distribution in the property is terrible. All due to poor distribution of the cable signal. The TVs are excellent.

We were just looking for a place to stay in the evenings in order to visit family in the campgrounds nearby at Bass Lake and it was a huge improvement over where we stayed last year. It is still taking some getting used to that housekeeping doesn't automatically replace towels and coffee for stays shorter than 3 days in most hotels but it's nice to know no one has been in your room while you were out.

This Comfort Inn in Orillia is in a great location close to dining options and is only about 10 minutes or so away from ****** Rama if you are heading to a concert. I was expecting an updated room though, after they advertised they had refurbished the rooms. Our room wasn't refurbished and I found an ant on my bed when we arrived, likely due to being on the first floor. The sliding doors to the parking lot must have been opened, while the cleaners were changing the bedding and cleaning the room. When we were leaving the room the next morning, we noticed a sea gull pecking at a white bag full of garbage outside, looking for something to eat. It could choke on the plastic, so it shouldn't be out in the open like that. The garbage bags need to be placed in a bin when the cleaners are cleaning the rooms. I am sure the bird must have left a mess behind also, so it would have created another mess for the cleaners to deal with.

The beds and pillows are very comfortable! Excellent wifi speed. The only unfortunate thing is the loud road that it's on. Breakfast was good, but unfortunately, it was all served with single use plates, cutlery and cups.

There was only one chair in the room, a nice big chair for sitting and using a computer at the desk. With two persons in the room, another smaller chair would have been nice. (Note:I did not ask for a second chair, I think it would have been provided if I did)

I always enjoy staying at the Comfort Inn - always convenient to highways and good food. Rooms always clean and staff always welcoming

Spent a lovely, impromptu evening at Comfort Inn Orillia last night. Thank you to the wonderful staff for going above and beyond to ensure our stay was a great one!
