nice resort, very clean and located right on the beach, all staff was very friendly and helpful.i had a studio with full kitchen and it was plenty of room for me and the wife, kitchen was equipped with everything most people would need, i cooked dinner for friends on Chris**as and needed more pots which i called the desk and they brought them up, sunrise on the balcony was fantastic. i went to the magic show and it was very good, a few of the tricks were amazing would go again. i plan to return next year, i found ormond beach area to be cleaner and quieter than daytona, would definitely recommend this resort.

Well maintained timeshare in beautiful Ormond Beach on the ***** north of Daytona Beach. Very quiet area, condo had great views and underground parking. Spacious pool deck with activities for all ages. Splash pad for the little ones and a fenced in kiddie pool. Weather was perfect 82+ everyday. May 3-10, 2024. We traded our home resort on Cape Cod November week.

The Royal Floridian exceeded my expectations. The resort was well run and maintained. Great place for a beach vacation. The comedy magician show on Wednesday nights is well worth the price of admission and we also participated in the water aerobics and many of the other activities offered by the resort. Played golf at the Ocean Golf Club in Daytona Beach Shores....a fun Par 3 course.

If you do not get assigned an ocean view room - pass this by. View of busy street. No operating window so no fresh air. Unit needs maintenance. Bedroom so small that side access to bed is difficult. Only queen bed.

This is our 8th year as owners and most likely our last. We were given interior rooms, not beach balcony rooms, while non-owners and people they were trying to sell on their time-share scam got balcony rooms. Maintenance has gone WAY downhill. Our toilet screamed and screeched every time it was flushed. Our sinks barely drained, making it impossible to do dishes. The front desk wouldn’t give me beach towels for the kids because “their last 2 were spoken for by a guy who was checking in and parking his car”. Excuse me? A dry person? Without even a swimsuit on? Common sense is not common at the front desk. The grills on the pool deck are FILTHY and only one was working. The indoor hottub was closed the entire week. The entire oceanfront deck with basketball court and tables was closed 6 of the 7 days we were there. Oh, and the security gate leading to the beach was constantly jammed/broken and yet they insisted it not stay propped open. 🙄 So disappointing.

Outstanding hot tub and pool ! Many tables, chairs, and loungers. Beautiful beach view. Great ocean view balconies. We lrft balcony door open to hear the wonderful wave action as we slept. Putter golf and shuffleboard added to our enjoyment.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Out of the craziness of Daytona but still has lots of restaurants walkable. A Publix to get groceries very close. Our unit was in north building. We had a huge balcony overlooking ocean. There is nothing like sitting out and listening to the sound of crashing waves. Well stocked kitchen. Plenty of dishwasher soap, dish soap and shampoo, conditioner and bathroom soap. So much to do right on property for entire family. They have daily activities scheduled that I did not do but they looked so fun:). The outdoor pool is amazing. It was so warm. Plenty of chairs around pool to lay around in. Tiki bar had $5 cocktails. They serve coffee every week day morning in south building lobby if you don’t want to make coffee in your room. North building has laundry machines at end of hallways which I was so appreciative of. All the staff was so kind and helpful. We did days trips to St Augustine. It was so cool walking around the historical shopping district. There is so much of our countries history there. We also day tripped to Rock springs in Kelly park. It was so cool snorkeling in the pristine water. Favorite activity was deep sea fishing on Sea Spirit in Ponce Inlet. We caught some beautiful fish and then took it to Hidden Rum Bar and Grill and they cooked it for us. It was an amazing experience!!

We had a timeshare, which was very well kept and clean. Views were spectacular! Check-in and out went flawlessly. Nice people! Had great entertainment watching vehicles getting stuck on the beach. The tow truck driver is likely a millionaire by now!

The first unit we were assigned had non-functional appliances. The maintenance employee seemed to have no knowledge of appliance repair. The front desk staff was very poorly trained in customer service. There was no manager on duty the Friday night of Daytona weekend so we had to wait until the next day to move to a different unit. The next day, the assistant manger called. He tried to blame RCI for putting us in a bad unit rather than accepting responsibility. There was no recompense offered for the fact that we were unable to prepare our dinner and the fact that we had to unpack and repack and move our belongings. Overall, the units are very poorly designed and shabby. In our 2nd unit, the kitchen sink was smaller than the one in our travel trailer. The room with the ocean view had no bathroom. The smaller bedroom did have a bathroom the size of a closet, with the toilet blocking access to the faucet side of the shower. The lighting was also very dim. There is only handicapped parking on site. Overall the building seems old and needs to be remodeled. I would not stay there again.
