3/2/24 First, on line says Check in at 2:00. Sign at desk says 3:00. After a slow check in process. Got room 115. Upon entering the room, the heater/AC unit was squeaking like crazy, speed changes to it made no difference. I can not sleep with that noise. Asked for new room. Got 206. Smoke detector was torn out (was either in this room or the first room, can't remember which, I immediately reported it to front desk). Hair dryer had many old long hairs sticking out of its intake vent. Toilet was wobbly, sink faucet was loose. Pillows were so flat they were useless. Had asked for 2 more pillows at check in, never got them. Couldn't use shower, when we tried to lift the pull device it would not pull up, was like it was rusted in place. TV remote button info was worn off. I hesitated to stay here because of various Bed Bug reports and numerous bad reviews, but had no choice at the point I booked. Never again. Will make the drive home rather than staying here. The positives: It was quiet, and we got lucky with no bug bites in our room (I brought large plastic bags to keep our luggage in). When I told the guy at checkout about all the room problems, no discount was offered. I didn't argue it, didn't bother with their crummy breakfast, I just wanted to go home and shower. Maids should be checking this stuff and giving a report to management, if they did, management obviously doesn't care, probably have a built in survivable income with the big salmon fishing season in the area.
