Wat een heerlijke plek om te verblijven, lekker zwembad en terras. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar met een mooie bar. Ontbijt was ook uitstekend. En ook de restaurants zijn op loopafstand. Het uitzicht is ook mooi , je kijkt zo over het land uit.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet mit tollem Blick auf den wunderschönen Garten. Das Frühstück war der absolute Wahnsinn! Wir durften von einer Karte wählen was wir möchten und alles wurde frisch zubereitet. Dazu gab es frisch gebackenes Brot, einfach köstlich! Und den besten Obstsalat den wir je gegessen haben. Gerry war ein wundervoller Gastgeber, er hat sich so toll um uns gekümmert, uns bei den Aktivitäten geholfen und Routenvorschläge gegeben, sogar ein Restaurant reserviert. Er hatte großes Interesse daran, dass wir einen tollen Aufenthalt haben und uns stets zur Seite gestanden und die besten Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants mitgeteilt. Wir würden sofort wieder bei Gerry buchen, es war wundervoll. Die Unterkunft war für Ausflüge auch gut gelegen.

Super fijne plek om te verblijven. Rustiek met heel veel gezellige zitjes. Een top host. Die elke ochtend een heerlijk ontbijt verzorgde en heel gastvrij is. Niet een groot zwembad maar prima en kraakhelder water. Met heerlijke ruimte er omheen. Mooi om van hieruit de Zwartberg pas te doen en de caves te bezoeken

Der Empfang war herzlich, das Zimmer gut ausgestattet und sauber. Besonders schön ist der Blick ins Grüne und die ruhige aber zentrale Lage. Parken ist vor der Tür möglich und sicher. Der Gastgeber hat uns tolle Tipps für unsere Weiterreise gegeben und hat ein leckeres Frühstück liebevoll zubereitet. Schöne, schattige Terrasse und ein kleiner Poolbereich mit kalten Getränken laden zum Verweilen ein. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Wunderbare Unterkunft, alles vorhanden was man braucht. Gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Alles sehr gepflegt und central gelegen. Das I-Tüpfelchen ist Gerry der Besitzer. Herzlich, hilfsbereit und hat tolle Tipps. Unbedingt eine Empfehlung wert.

Realmente Gerry nos atendió como en su casa, nos sentimos muy cómodos, además de la perfecta atención, nos indico como continuar el viaje, con las mejores ideas, y nos fue de lo mejor, el lugar es increíble- Todo perfecto

Ci siamo fermati solo una notte ma ci siamo trovati benissimo: dall'accoglienza ricevuta da parte di Jimmy al comfort delle stanze, è stato tutto perfetto. Ottima anche la posizione, sebbene abbiamo vissuto la tappa solo di passaggio, ma di sera abbiamo sfruttato un ottimo ristorante nelle vicinanze e raggiungibile a piedi.

I Have stayed here before and would do so again! Great accomodations, very comfortable, and a delicious breakfast. Within walking distance of 2 fabulous restaurants. Change of ownership has made little difference to this great lodging.

We had an outstanding stay at Gumtree Guest House. The room was large and very comfortable with a bathtub in the bathroom which was an added bonus. There is safe and secure parking on the premises. Gerry's breakfast was a highlight. I will highly recommend this guest house to anyone wishing to visit Outdshoorn. The location, facilities and host is superb.

The guesthouse owner has to be commended for his gift of hospitality and kindness. This was overall a wonderful guesthouse to stay at, with nice spacious rooms, a wonderful pool deck and a great breakfast! I've stayed in Oudtshoorn a number of times, but this accommodation is definately memorable.

Great place to stay! Gerry the owner was so friendly and helpful. Treated us to the most magnificent breakfast too. Rooms were lovely with fab bathroom. Loved the garden with swimming pool and great views across the river. We were with a cycling group and Gerry made sure we were very well looked after - including all the bikes (even waking up every hour as he was worried they would get stolen). Thanks Gerry!

Large comfortable rooms, large deck with a pool for cooling off. Could not have done more for me. Great recommendations on restaurants but also provides a great map of the local areas. I was booked onto all the activities (Merecats were great) by the staff. Super chilled place with a very convenient location.

We were warmly welcomed by Gerry in his amazing guest houses! They were super clean and we slept very well ! Special thanks for all Gerry’s recommendations on the Garden Route ! Do not hesitate to go and enjoy the swimming pool with an amazing view !

Fantastic location, hosts, venue and hosts local knowledge made the stay very enjoyable. Suggested drinks (black mountain gin and windhoek draught), nearby restaurants and road trip were excellent. Missing the Gumtree but great memories to look back on.
