堪薩斯城 - 沙尼米遜美國延住公寓式酒店(Extended Stay America Suites - Kansas City - Shawnee Mission)

Do not stay here! We left before check in. First no one at front desk for 20 min, though we heard yelling in the back (then we called). Then told that they couldn’t check anyone in during certain hours (after we had called to tell them when we’d be there). Then they didn’t have our reservation (magically found it when I showed her my email). Now we could check in (guess the no check in hours weren’t accurate) but only after paying a $200 deposit. For one night. When I said that there wasn’t a deposit amount listed anywhere she said it was because we booked on a third party site. When I showed her that it wasn’t listed on their website either (the only place it was shown anywhere was a little handmade sign hanging in the lobby), she told me I’d have to pay if I wanted the room. I asked to speak to a manager and she put me on the phone with someone (definitely not a manager) who made weird noises into the phone, then was very rude, told me I was being difficult, then asked to speak to the attendant again (sounded a lot like the voice of whoever was yelling when we got there). She hung up. I asked to speak to someone else and she told me there was no one else I could talk to but that she could try to do a $100 deposit instead. The whole experience was so weird and sketchy that I didn’t even want to give her my card number at that point so we left, having already paid for the room.

The first room they assigned us, already had someone in it. The second room was cockroach infested. We did not stay at the hotel but they charged our card a &100 deposit and a two night fee.

We go down graded from 2 double beds to a queen because they said they over booked. The room has strange spots on the floor. It was okay for one night but if it was for more than a night we would have gone somewhere else. To top it off when we woke up to leave the car next to me side swept me and did not leave a note and there were no cameras to help me.

There were roaches crawling out ot every drain. It was disgusting and scary to think of them crawling around throughout the night. Was initially given a room that was already occupied, that was scary. And the staff was unavailable to check-out because they were walking the property knocking on doors 7 minutes past check-out time to personally "evict" guest. I did not expect 5 star but zero stars and an eviction was far beyond offensive.

The air conditioning in the room was leaking and they had towels piled up under it to control the leak. We asked for another room and supposedly they didn’t have another one we could move to.

Staff was extremely nice, checking in and out. Only issue we really had was the kids above us decided to run around and jump at 2am.

The room was a home environment. Security lock was not properly screwed in, missong some screws.

This place is need of some work. First room tv didn’t work. Next room smoke detector falling out of ceiling, draw broken just hanging. 1/2 bar soap still in tub and very dirty (we did not use).Very noisy above room and outside door. Will not stay here again.

Checked in for 5 minutes and saw 3 huge full grown roaches. Had to leave
