My wife and I visited Padua for the first time for three nights starting Thursday Sept 12 and checking out on Sunday Sept. 15. modern conveniencs. The hotel is centrally located and convenient to the historic center. It is also very clean and up to date with modern convencies. There are a number of excllent restaurants within easy walking distance. The staff especially Sergio was very helpful and professional. When we checked-out it was my birthday and they very thoughtfully gave me a birthday note with a bag with two jars of munchies, very nice gesture. We recommend this hotel highly and would definetly stay here again.
The photos of the hotel internally is nothing like it is now so don’t expect what you see. The staff were exceptional, friendly, accommodating and very helpful. Nothing detrimental on their behalf and our room was clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable.Aircon was ok but doesn’t go below 20 so I think the summer temperatures might have a struggle. However! The wellness centre is closed completely. The pool is closed. for private functions only . The bar closes early. Breakfast is …..well the reviews were not wrong. We tried the restaurant….when it was open ( closed during our visit more than once) set menu, costly and …..like the breakfast, lacking in quantity. The bar has no ambience and the chairs are boardroom style and uncomfortable. This is not our first BW hotel stay but it very nearly could be.
Before our trip I read a lot of comments that hotel is pretty old and tired. But when we arrived we realized that hotel has been renovated. All the rooms are modern, fresh and cozy. Hotel has good parking, tasty breakfast on the last floor with the nice view. Rooms have comfy beds and balkonies with the good view. Location is not far from the city center and train station. From the last one you can easily reach to Venice. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I can defintelly recomend this hotel for couples and families with kids and grand parents.
Enjoyed three nights here whilst on a business trip to the area. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful; followed up some excellent restaurant recommendations! The hotel breakfast offering was very good and the service was excellent . Our room was spacious and functional (suite). If you do not have a car you will need to take taxis into Padua as there is little around the hotel for dining etc.
Crowne Plaza Padova One night stay here. Recognised as Diamond and offered breakfast for welcome amenity. Upgraded to a suite on arrival. Room was large with a king size bed, small table and chairs, desk, sofa and a separate dressing room. Bathroom was roomy plus had a bath and separate shower enclosure. Plenty of tea and coffee supplied and water in the mini fridge. We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent. Breakfast was very good also. Hotel is easy to reach from the motorway and has plenty of parking on site. Seems to be used by coach parties which can make for a long wait at check in.
訪訪客The 1980’s called and want their hire back Ok folks. Listen closely. Their hotel either has the heat on the air conditioning. They only had heat while we were there and the rooms were very hot. Like you can sleep hot. So naturally you open a window. Hello mosquitoes and street noise!. It never cooled down. Horrid nights sleep. (I did ask for AC but they said no) So if you enjoy camping this place is perfect! The room was clean and the location was very good. And they don’t have showers. It’s a tub you have to squat down to shower. So I do NOT recommend staying here. Padova is very cool though.
訪訪客Hotel in zona Padova nord, distante qualche km dal centro per cui consigliabile per chi ha auto a disposizione o vuole muoversi coi mezzi, meno per chi preferisce essere vicino al centro. Parcheggio ampio e gratuito. Noi abbiamo soggiornato nella zona nuova dell'albergo in una camera pulita e spaziosa. Cordiale il personale alla reception in particolare il signore in giacca e cravatta che ci ha preparato gli spritz!!! Colazione più o meno nella norma, prezzo interessante.
訪訪客The hotel os located in a very calm and nice residential area, beautiful buildings. Quite close to the city center and the old town. The rooms exceptionally clean and comfortable, newly refurbished. The staff is helpful, friendly and easy to talk to. Great stay in Paduva!
This hotel has a great location. Across the street from the basilica of Saint Anthony and about a 15-minute walk from many of the other sites (the duomo, Piazza dei Signori, etc.). The Orto Botanico is only a few minutes away. The rooms are simply furnished but spacious and clean. The bed is comfy, the breakfast is substantial, the staff friendly. I'm giving it extra points because the price is so reasonable. My three nights, including breakfast, cost just 252 euro.
My 3 girlfriends and I booked this stay for a week in Padova for the holidays. Despite the room being of decent standards and the expected breakfast being sufficient, the service was unsatisfactory and distasteful. The room we rented was supposed to be 2 single beds and 1 double bed. Due to a switch of one guest for a night, one single bed's sheets needed to be changed. To our surprise on coming back to the room at the end of the day, we noticed that the single double bed was changed to two single beds. This was done with no previous informing or inquiry. When we asked the receptionist the reason for this change, she denied our claims stating there were always 2 single beds. Now, how do 4 whole individuals remember the type of bed wrong? Did we all get amnesia in less than 24 hours? Well, according to the receptionist, we were lying and there were apparently 4 single beds all along, even though in our booking it said 2 singles and 1 double. We stated clearly the exchange of a guest and presented each guest's ID. Was our bed arrangement changed because of the primitive/baseless thought that black guests will bring in extra people to sleep in the room for free??! We will never know. Additionally, we had various hostile interactions with no prior provocation. The least a visitor expects from the stay they paid for is a basic, respectful and polite customer service. My friend reviewed on *********** to express her discontent with her experience and this is the response we got for our stay: ”Dear Juliette, we are very surprised by your review. First of all, nobody of our staff can be considered ******: we are a work team composed by people from South America to Germany, from Italy to Bangladesh. None of our staff members have ever had problems of racism one with the other or with our guests. Second, the room you booked was exactely the room we assigned to you: you ask for a 4-beds room with one large bed and 2 single beds, and that was the setting of the room. We also agree in making a change of linen because one of the guest was leaving the second day, replaced by another one. So we do not consider ourself not collaborative or not paying attention to the needs of our guests. In the end, we are surprised you didn't enjoy your stay with us, but fortunately for you Padova has plenty of hotels that will guest your next vacation.
