帕基裏海灘度假公園(Pakiri Beach Holiday Park)

We love to stay at pakiri. Great location, great staff at the holiday park, and our favourite place to holiday. It’s perfect for our family trips away. The kids are kept entertained all day. We recommend this place to everyone. Great estuary for kids to chill out and to also paddle board. Then a great surf beach which has surf lifesavers in the summer.

Hopefully this was just one grumpy staff member. I rang here because my guide says that they give hiker discounts (we take up very little space). After telling them who I was they told me to book online. Doing so, I couldn’t see the discount option but thought “that’s OK, I’m sure they’ll sort it out later“. How wrong I was- the response was basically ‘finders keepers’. Their attitude was further displayed when I asked if my dollar coin would work the showers, and was told I could change them for 50c pieces at a town 30km away! So having taken an extra $25, they couldn’t trust me with change for a dollar. Wifi costs extra too.

Untouched, undeveloped, golden sand, coastal bird paradise. Cell phone signal patchy but that’s what being off the beaten track is about. We rented a beach from cottage along with family and friends in other beach front cottages and the Lodge. We congregated in the lodge to eat, talk and sit in the sun on the verandah. Some went surfing, some fishing, some walking. The views from the headland regional park are spectacular.

Have stayed multiple times and it just keeps getting better. Great location, brilliant facilities, fantastic team and overall awesome environment for a family trip or getaway for 2. Beautiful piece of paradise just a stones throw from the big city. Cant fault it and will continue to visit for years to come.

We rented a beachfront studio unit for 2 nights and it was a wonderful getaway. There was space for our two young children to sleep on the fold out couch, and the view was magnificent. Such a special location and great family friendly accommodation.

This place has amazing views, exceptional customer service. Stayed in the lodge over the weekend and a few family members booked some cabins, the rooms were immaculate, really spacious and had everything we needed and has a really great vibe. Made the best memories here. We will definitely be back.

Unfortunately not family friendly at all, kids are prevented from having fun of any sort and office lady is rude to all. Kitchen and bathrooms are a mess and not cleaned. Toilets are broken and sometimes closed due to no hot water. I’d just avoid.

This is a fantastic place, the manager does an amazing job, and the staff are super friendly. The amenties a kept very clean. The accomodation is really nice, beds are super comfy. So much for people to do, its a real family friendly place to stay

Had another wonderful stay in a beach side chalet. This time in late May. No matter what time of year you stay here the view is always spectacular and the light at this time of year is beautiful. The chalet was really warm dispute some nasty cold weather arriving. Jordan, Tom and Anne went out of their way as usual to ensure we had a brilliant holiday. They are the most amazingly helpful and friendly team. Pakiri really is one of the most beautiful beaches and estuaries in NZ.
