瑪格麗特維爾棕櫚泉酒店度假村(Margaritaville Resort Palm Springs)

Initial room had bathroom door falling off the hinges. After 2 requests and front desk visit repair man was sent out. Said he fixed it and door fell again. (Photo is after it was “fixed”). Put out kids in the shower to see a long hair pool to the drain! After this they upgraded our room. Shampoo mount was on the floor in the shower. Did not inform guests that one set of pools would be closed down for two days of our visit due to upcoming event. Day 2 we were woken up at 8AM to the sound of drilling as workers put together a stage next to our room. At 11:45 at night we again spoke to the front desk because the loud sounds of drilling due to them STILL putting together a stage. Worker letting us know they were “almost done”. On day 3 the same drilling a shouting as the crew we still setting up the stage. Visited the front desk twice more to speak to management about our issue and was told that a manager was not available, to come back in the morning. We did, and again told that “manager not available”.

The Margaritaville was truly exceptional, from the amenities to the service. This location has a special place in my heart, Even before it was Margaritaville. It still has the same great feeling as when it was The Riviera. Nothing but praise to the people of Palm Springs. I’ll keep coming back until I’m old i believe . You kind of just make homes to certain resorts. This one called my name . Thanks again to the staff.

Too spread out, no ice, shop closed in early evening, ridiculous resort fee, too much money for the room, poor layout of facilities did not like would not return

Overall , our stay was great!

no hot water and they still allowed us and others to check in. no one answers the phone. went to front said maint would come check, never did. found out later they lied and whole hotel was without hot water. violation of california law and fraud to continue to check in guest. this place is a disaster.

We were given keys to a room that was occupied and walked in on a lady who was shocked and terrified, as were we. We waited in the hall for 30 minutes for keys to a new room. The staff was rude about it, however after speaking to a manager we did receive a discounted rate. Later that evening a man pounded on our door because he wanted to know if the room we were in was occupied. He had a clipboard and was marking down occupied rooms on the floor. The lady we walked in on was incredibly upset so there was an argument between her and the staff. It was just an odd experience and felt unsafe. I wouldn’t stay there a second time.

A known issue to hotel management and multiple reviews posted on google. There is no hot water in building 3. Yet they assign rooms in this building. They did change room to another once we walked up to reception but lost 2 hrs in between. Property is old, motel style rooms. Hardly qualifies as resort. Requested in room dining for a cup of hot milk for infant at 8.45 pm. Their restaurants were open but they denied service. Requested hot water next day 10 am(rooms dont have microwave and coffee maker was filthy. Was told/discouraged by saying it will take 1 hour to deliver in room. Was told to walk to restaurant and take yourself. Overall not a place that can be recommended. Resort fee is charged and gives facilities that any typical motel provides like parking, printing, towels etc..simple items.

The shower didn't work properly and the book change was not adequately processed so I canceled the booking but I couldn't get a refund yet!
