帕爾馬尼酒店(Hotel Parmani)

Decent amount of parking, beds were very hard, shower was odd. The shower was odd because they had nice tiles, but an old (1970s?) Green tub and the shower head had bad water pressure, plus you couldn't plug the tub as it didn't work. Very old microwave but at least it worked.

I was checked in by a remote worker- very pleasant woman, but very odd to have no one in the office when I arrived. The room itself was ok. The furniture was rather scuffed up, the curtain was hanging at an odd angle, and the place smelled a bit musty and unpleasant. All in all, the place would have benefited from some human touches and attention to details. If this were an inexpensive hotel room, I might have taken these things more in stride, but at $165 for a single queen bedroom, it felt disappointing. Perhaps other rooms are better or updated, but mine was not nice. Convenient location to campus and services, but will not stay there again.

Smelled like smoke. There were rags soaked with Lysol in the AC and stuffed behind the wardrobe to make it smell less. The automated kiosk checkin was slow and terrible.

Nice little hotel with great customer service. The check in process was fast and convenient. There are several restaurants within walking distance. Will definitely stay her in the future.

Check in was weird. I guess it’s a pandemic-era thing, but you can no longer walk into the front office and check in. You must check in at the small “night check-in” window, even during the day. That’s fine, but maybe they should have a large planter in the walkway with a sign or arrow pointing to the night window vs. getting yelled to check in there as you pass. They have to yell because of the thick, bullet-proof glass (despite front door being normal glass) and because you pass the window on the way to the front door. I have stayed here before in the past for some work at Stanford. It generally gets the job done. Free parking, Wi-Fi, mini fridge, microwave. Bathroom appeared nicer than I remember. Nice tiles. Functionally not so great, though, see below. The room I stayed in this go around was really cramped and the toilet was a little broken (handle pushed toilet lid up from needing to twist too far). And the walls were rather thin. I could hear the bass of people’s voices AND my first night there was a baby next door which woke me multiple times since the walls aren’t well insulated. I recommend having the air on as white noise or headphones / ear plugs. Second night was far better than first.

This is a great hotel stay, centrally located in town. The property is family owned who knows how to make you feel at home. It's quiet and clean and if you're looking for a weekend spot, this is the place. Thanks Yatin for the excellent service!

The hotel is really a motel. The quality of the coffee and soaps was good (Starbucks, Aveda, and Neutrogena). The linens had minor stains, the pillows were lumpy, and I wished for more bankets and pillows. Still, for being walking distance from The Fish Market restaurant and affordable, I say the motel is decent.

It's very inexpensive, and very cheap. You get what you pay for. I don't want a lot out of a hotel - a door that locks, clean sheets and wifi is all I really need. Parmani provided that! And it was an easy walk to my office for the meetings I was in town for.
