I paid $720 for a room with pungent ramen noodle smell. The smell was so bad that I woke up in the middle of night and could not go back to sleep in the disgusting smell. Tthis is the worst night i have spent in any hotel.

Excellent customer service from all the receptionist and staff. They went above and beyond to help me since airlines lost my luggage. Room was quiet, very clean, comfortable bed and I love having a kitchen for extended stays. Good breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel. Will stay again if opportunity arises! Thanks for friendly service!

Policy changes made it so that there was some confusion regarding checkout times and the end of breakfast. The breakfast part was my fault, as I missed that it was over at 9:30 on weekdays. Informing guests upon checking would have been helpful. Most hotels tell you that info as you're checking in, to avoid what we went through. We got downstairs at 9:33, thinking it went until 10:00, and they were packing it up. The only reason it frustrated us was because they didn't even allow us to pack a to-go box with the food they were taking back to the kitchen. They were very firm and offered no solution. Again, my fault, but a little courtesy would have been appreciated. Also, they changed the checkout time to make it an hour earlier than what was on my booking confirmation. They told me that they just changed it, and kinda seemed put off by the fact that I needed that hour, since that was what I booked. All in all, a great place to stay off the ***** with a shuttle or a small Lyft fare to get you there. I definitely would stay here again if I don't want to be in the madness of the *****.

Great experience with check in, staff, and even the complimentary breakfast, however, the door to our room would not lock unless it was pulled and yanked a lot. It seemed like it’d shut, but wouldn’t lock on its own. (Room 413)

Stay here. Great location, clean rooms, very comfortable, and well maintained. Super nice people too! Oh yeah, the breakfasts were pretty darn good too!

Hotel was great and so was the room. However not enough free parking. Also found a few long hairs in my room (I have no hair). Also way way too much security to get into hotel. Everything needs a key card, which is hard to do with your hands full. Also my coworker had to stop by and I had to come down to meet.

Very nice for the money. However, I was not informed that if we parked in the parking garage there would be a $10/day fee. The "free" parking advertised was VERY limited to just a handful of spots. We had a pull out sofa sleeper but once pulled out there was no room to get between the regular bed and the sofa sleeper. Not ideal for bathroom trips in the middle of the night. Also, there was no bottom fitted sheet for the sofa bed. By the time we got in that night and discovered such, our son didn't want to mess with asking for one -- he just slept on it with just a mattress cover. If for just 2 people it would have been a great room for even an extended stay with a very functional little kitchen, The placement of the tv on the wall made it difficult to watch comfortably from either the bed or the sofa. Breakfast was pretty good but not really what I would call a full buffet breakfast as described.

Generally good - rooms weee not cleaned as indicated but all other services were very very good. Room well equipped but dishwasher was not working. Location and shuttle service were good balance

It was a great surprise we had never stayed at a Marriott Townplace. Such a good experience we’re using TownPlace in Hawthorne CA and next week we’re going over to Manhattan Beach stay at the TownPlace there.
