SSimon001001The perfect location in central Wernigerode for your stay. An easy walk to the castle, the steam Brockenbahn and the main railway station from here, as well as all the local cafes and restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful, although little to no English is spoken here, so brush up on your German before travelling. Breakfast is plentiful and first class, the rooms are comfortable with nice bathrooms and there is a fridge in each room. WiFi is excellent. I'll be staying here again on my next trip to Wernigerode.

SSunset comesAffordable price included breakfast with nice window view to the countryside. However a bit difficult to check in, there is no staff at counter, it’s self check in. I was having difficulty to scan collect room card, luckily there was other guests willing to help call and speak German to staff via phone. Wish to come here again to see countryside Mountain View with fresh air.

SSusanPerfect for a one night stop when travelling by rail. We were able to leave our bags at reception in the morning as we arrived early which was great. The room was fine with a bathroom bigger than the bedroom ! Plenty of choice at breakfast. Helpful staff when we checked in and out.
