Very nice place to be there.

Overnight stop while traveling through LA area. Just needed an affordable, comfortable night's sleep. This hotel exceeded my expectations. The king suite (priced the same as a double queen room) was spacious, had a fridge and microwave, and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was on par with similar hotels. Staff was very welcoming. Neighborhood seemed a little sketchy when we arrived at night, but looked much better in daylight. Parking lot was well lit. Sprouts and a couple of food options were a short walk from the hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

The rooms have generally been very clean except for upholstered chairs which are very gross and heavily stained and dirty. I say remove the chair from the room, or clean the chair. In its condition anyway, no one in their right mind with any regard for hygiene would let their body make contact with the chair so removing chair from room would not be a loss.

Parking court is protected from street and offers some covered/some open spaces. Nick efficiently checked us in with a happy smile. We got our requested type room, no problems. Luggage rack by the lobby is always appreciated! Elevator worked fine. Room was clean, spacious, and looked good. Bathroom was modern, but has wasted wall space that BEG for a towel rack, since the room sleeps four, but has only one 2' rack on which to hand washcloths and handtowels. BEDS ARE COMFY!!! Very important to folks that have had back issues/surgery. There IS a temperature remote control, but it's confusing to use. Techy folks won't have to ask the front desk. Luckily, my husband is intuitive. Amenities had cups, working fridge, microwave. I really do like finding a suitcase rack and a few drawers to declutter my suitcase a bit. Love the large, modern bathroom counter, so we both have room to set out our personal toiletries. BREAKFAST was MORE than just the continental set-up advertised. The cheerful breakfast lady had melted cheese into egg patties. Sausage alternates days with bacon. My husband sure like those potatoes. Coffee was GOOD. Juices change up daily. Luna was articulate and helpful answering questions by phone before our visit, so I was delighted to meet her by our last day. Check out receipt was accurate. Pulling into the hotel I was not to sure about the hotel or location. Parking is very very tight and spaces are mainly for compact cars. Check in was great and I was greeted with respect and light conversation. There is a elevator which was a plus because we had a suite on the 3rd floor. Room had a typical "hotel," smell but was not to bad. The room was spacious and cleaner than some of the 4start hotels we have stayed at recently. We needed extra towels and bedding for the pull out, which we received without any hesitation. Bed was comfortable and the pullout even had a small comfortable mattress. Area was very quiet through the night and we slept well. We did not take advantage of the pool or spa but area and water looked clean. They served a hot breakfast in the morning with more than enough options to satisfy guests. Check out was just as easy as check in, all of the staff were very friendly and if in the area again I would not mind staying here again.
