Uitstekende plek om te relaxen en u te laten verwennen door de gastvrijheid van het personeel. Rustig gelegen in de bergen met een mooie uitzicht over de vallei. Verzorgde ruime kamer/villa. Niets op aan te merken. Wij kunnen dit zeker aanbevelen.

We had a wonderful time at Alta Gracia! The staff is amazing in every way. They go above and beyond to make the trip memorable and special. I highly recommend the couples dinner in your casita and horseback riding experience. We had a wonderful time with Juan Diego climbing up the mountain side by horse. The service and level of care is second to none; Andrey Mora Vega is top notch. What is so unique and interesting as a guest; the entire staff is from the area and live close to the property. They can tell you anything you are interested in about your surroundings and their culture. This is unique compared to other high end properties we’ve been to. The only negative; the food made me sick. I spent $780 on a doctor’s visit and lots of antibacterial meds to fight the food borne illness. Make sure you bring some meds to prepare for this. It can really put a damper on an otherwise amazing stay.

The facilities, food and especially staff are top notch. They make you feel special and will accommodate any requests you may have. Truly a five star experience. The only knock on this place would be the pricing, activities and alcohol (which is not included) are obscenely priced.

If you ever have an opportunity to visit AltaGracia in Costa Rica, DO IT! Every detail of this stunning property is thoughtfully considered, with beautiful touches everywhere, combining to create an authentic and elegant setting for your visit. The food is perfection-- fresh, artfully prepared and truly delicious. The staff forms the most welcoming community imaginable, authentically warm and professional ensuring that every aspect of your experience will be well attended to. They were one step ahead of any need or desire we could possibly imagine for our entire stay. The property is vast and beautiful yet the setting feels intimate. There are multiple activities on site daily-- health & wellbeing, cultural and cuisine experiences, etc. that are included in your stay. AltaGracia can also offer some wonderful additional services and experiences, just ask your personal Copa (host). I could go on, but will simply say: one cannot ask for a more beautiful, authentic setting with a luxurious offering for guests.

The staff was wonderful at this resort. They went out of their way to accommodate any requests we had. They were kind, friendly, and attentive. We went on a 2 hour horseback ride that was the most beautiful ride we had ever experienced. The rooms were nice, a bit dated but nice and very clean. The views were incredible from our casita. The beds were very comfortable and the turn down service was exceptional. The only reason we did not give this hotel 5 stars was the food. For the price we paid to stay at this resort, we expected 5 star quality food and we received 3 star food. The fish was over cooked the rice and pasta was undercooked. My husband suffered from bloat the whole time we were there which was likely a reaction to the oils they used. Much of the food tasted under seasoned. The coffee was so bitter we couldn’t drink it. Fortunately, the staff offered us the 1826 coffee they drink. Overall we loved the resort, the location was so beautiful but the food was a big miss so the whole stay felt way overpriced.

Hacienda AltaGracia went above and beyond my expectations. The resort is gorgeous, the team made our stay so special, and I will remember this trip for a lifetime.

I had such a lovely stay. I enjoyed the activities, spa, dining the overall experience was amazing. It’s a nice mix from beach to rainforest to mtns.
