瓦爾庫爾船屋旅館(Valcour Inn & Boathouse)

L'endroit est magnifique et si vous allez à Ausable Chasm, bien c'est vraiment tout près à moins de 10 min en voiture. La dame qui s'occupe des lieux a été très serviable. À noter qu'il n'y a pas vraiment de réception, votre clé est laissée sur la table à l'entrée. Petite déception pour le déjeuner, nos attentes étaient peut-être trop grandes? En fait on parle de collation déjeuner sûrement. Et la station cuisine est à l'étage des chambres quand l'endroit offre de grandes tables (intérieures) au RDC et dehors pour profiter de l'endroit magnifique. Notre chambre était bien et notre lit confortable. La climatisation un peu bruyante. Il a fait si chaud que la climatisation peinait à nous rafraîchir. Somme toute, l'endroit est très beau!

Wow, what a great room! Massive, beautifully decorated, quiet, and a big balcony overlooking the lake. Cleanest hotel ever! Only downside is the boxed breakfast, mostly not good. But otherwise perfect,

We were planning to stay at Valcour Inn, getting there by 50 mile bicycle ride. One mile away from the inn we found that the bridge we needed to cross to get there was closed. Called the Inn from there, left a voice mail asking what we should do given the circumstances and have not heard a word back from them several days later. I did get an email asking how our stay was, so this is our response. Lucky for us there was a motel (Shamrock Inn) just a mile back with a lovely owner who helped us out with a room at a discount. It sure would have been nice to hear from the inn at all. As far as they know we are still sitting at the bridge trying to figure how to get across!

The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are lovely and comfortable. The continental breakfast products were top quality and diligently replenished. Staff was very friendly.

Valcour Suite, room # 4, is very spacious and comfortable with a huge bathroom, white and fluffy towels, a perfect-firmness bed, perfect height pillows and fine sheets. Its curtains are tastefully selected. They provide fresh muffins, fruits, assortment of yogurt, mango juice, bottled water, coffee, tea, hot chocolate with real cutlery and saucers. Mr. Mahmoud Moussa gave us another heater and more towels😊! The water view is definitely scenic. Its grounds is expansive and green.

Except for some repairs that were promptly made, the room was comfortable. Our stay lived up to the promised service.

Great location and view. Checked in...sheet left on table and never saw anyone from facility. Breakfast was stuff left in refrigerator or on counter.

Beautiful view from the balcony of our room (#3). Our room had a queen n double. The beds needed some updating, so I was glad I got 2 beds instead of just one. The room was spacey but the bathroom small. When I the bathroom there was a loud noise. They had a small refrigerator that had Almond Milk in it and no shelves. Then they had a large cooler that you could see inside it without opening the doors. They supplied juice and creamers, cream cheese and butter.We used one shelf for our dinner that we brought back to eat later. We had dinner on the lower balcony that had round table and chairs. It was fine until a mouse came around and under the table. I know it was outside but not something I wanted to see why eating. So when you check in there is a table by the door where you will find a sheet with your instructions and code. On the second floor in the hallway is a table that has dishes and coffee pot and tea pot. On the other side is bagels under a covered that everyone takes from plus another container of muffins (that were Hugh). The best part was the view. Down the street was a boating launch where we saw lighthouse across the water. That was what our trip was about lighthouses. The thing I didn’t care much about was customer service nobody was there but per the instruction was phone call away. No check in before 4pm.
