瓦賽夫露營酒店(Wassaif Camp)

We loved the location. Super friendly staff, Sam. Would recommend that you bring snacks, as food is limited. The perfect place to unwind after Petra.

Per raggiungere il campo abbiamo dovuto fare L ultimo pezzo di strada di circa 2km sullo sterrato. Guardare bene nel momento della prenotazione che ci sia il riscaldamento nella camera. Noi involontariamente non ci abbiamo guardato e abbiamo dovuto vestirci per dormire. Temperatura notturna di 3 gradi. Le casette non hanno delle pareti in muratura ma sono più teli tirati infatti passano degli spifferi, ma una volta sotto i piumoni si dorme caldi. Il generatore per L elettricità è in funzione dalle 6:30 alle 24, per lavarsi con L acqua calda meglio lavarsi presto prima che finisca. Noi siamo arrivati che erano più delle 23 e ci hanno accolto lo stesso servendoci la Cena. Personale cordiale e disponibile. Ottimo il cielo stellato!

Magnífico lugar para descansar y relajarte después de visitar Petra. El personal es muy amable y te ofrecen una cena casera muy muy buena. El sitio es muy tranquilo y precioso. Nosotros lo pasamos muy bien. Lo recomiendo! Gracias por vuestra hospitalidad.

Disfrutamos mucho de nuestra estancia , las tiendas estaban muy limpias y las camas eran muy cómodas.El dueño muy atento y la comida riquísima , a 15' de Petra ,muy buena opción para desconectar del bullicio de la ciudad y una puesta de sol maravillosa

Ficamos por duas noite e foi uma experiência incrível. Tínhamos receio das comodidades devido ao frio previsto e ser uma proposta diferente dos hotéis convencionais, mas tivemos uma grata surpresa, ótima estrutura, barracas c isolamento térmico, chuveiro ótimo. Internet ótimas em todas as acomodações Estacionamento Café da manhã incrível e preparado com muito carinho. Estivemos sozinhos em um dos dias e prepararam uma mesa linda Jantar ótimo com preparações tradicionais. Atendimento ótimo, foram atenciosos em todos os momentos e sempre dispostos a fazer de nossa estada a melhor possível

Séjour extraordinaire dans ce camp ! Le personnel très souriant et accueillant … Les chambres sont spacieuses et la literie confortable … J’ai beaucoup apprécié la localisation de ce camp … il est situé au milieu de nul part, de ce fait, vous vivrez un moment unique et à couper le souffle ! Nous avons aussi mangé sur place et nous n’avons pas été déçus .. repas copieux et savoureux ! Prix plus que raisonnable ! Merci encore pour l’accueil . Je recommande

This place is fabulous! 30minutes from historical Petra site. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Hot shower, great bed and heavy blankets. The social area has a great fireplace and spectacular sunset views. We came with 13 Americans and everyone loved it. Food is great and the owner and attendants got out of their way to help.

The facilities were very limited for a camp welcoming tourists and with quite a high price. We didn't expect this when we saw the rather positive reviews and ratings... - When we arrived at check-in time, it seemed that our rooms were not ready and when we entered them, they were not clean at all (traces of excrement in the toilets, the shower drain was blocked, etc.). - Then it was mentioned to us only at the arrival that the electricity is available only from 6 am to 8 am and then from 6pm to 12am. We can wash only in the evening and we have to ask (sometimes several times) to have hot water. This information should be absolutely present in the description of the hotel or at the time of the reservation. Even if this is due to the fact that the camp is far away, it is still the least an hotel can offer for the price paid. - Although the camp is on a hill and it was December, it was also much too cold and the rooms were not well insulated for that. We could see and feel the wind passing through the fabric of the walls. We had made camps in the desert before, where the temperature were the same, and that was still well insulated from the cold so that proves that the rooms in this camp are not at all adapted for that. Moreover, there is no point in taking the AC to warm up (a paying service) since the electricity cuts off at midnight and the cold comes in from everywhere in the room. - The meal is not excellent and expensive (15 JOD). - The road to arrive at the camp is rocky. It would have been nice to have the information to know if our car could access it or not.
