The sound insulation was bad, can heard the water pipe, the people in the hallway, and the outside cars. If you are a quite sleeper, don't choice here. Overall the value of the cost is okay. The parking charge is not that reasonable.

The location was close to the stadiums, about a mile and change walk through a neighborhood surrounded by a local park.

No hot water, no bathroom trash can, outlets in bathroom didn’t work, poor lighting….keys to the room didn’t work, rude staff Had to pay $15/night for parking…neighborhood didn’t feel safe. Tv reception was in and out. I would strongly suggest NOT coming to this hotel, and I will definitely never be coming back

Remarkable find! Pulled up outside on a very grey rainy day at its location in South Philly near the Stadium, and thought uh-oh, this neighborhood doesn't look that great. So surprised, as I walked into this bright, clean, airy and modern lobby! Staff was wonderful. Coming and going, I felt safe and comfortable at all times. This area isn't center city, with all its walking glamour, but if you need a car to come and go during your stay, this place is it! For an extra $15 per day, parking, both valet and self park was convenient and available right on site. And as I started to explore, South Philly had a charm all of its own. The rooms are clean, modern and came with a fridge. I would have liked a microwave, but that was not available. We choose HIPA-SA because my husband would be having surgery at Hosp of Univ Penn. Located just off Rt 76, all I needed to do was hop on Rt 76, and within a couple exits, I was there, or nearly anywhere else in Philly I wanted to be. I would've given it a five star, except for one caveat. Being near the stadium, can be a plus or minus. The first night we stayed, there was a concert nearby. No fault to this hotel, because I did not ask in advance for a quiet room, but that night the concert goers partied, noisily, into the night. So, I would say check the event schedules. You may find an event that you want to be part of? But if you need serious quiet or sleep, make sure they can accommodate ahead of time.

Very close to the stadiums, that was the plus. Reasonable prices. Breakfast a bit slow. Valet - you mine as well book another night while waiting for your car to arrive. Clientele is sketchy at times. Bar downstairs is convenient, but again, watch out for other guests. Rooms were comfortable, but thin walls (you can hear much...X rated at times). Lobby was decorated for the holiday, which was nice. Would I return? Probably not. Also, shuttle from Airport to hotel is not recommended. Find another way to get there.

Valet disappears for 20 minute stretches. Once found him in lobby chatting with front desk staff, all of whom were oblivious that I was outside. Nicely remodeled but extremely limited bar hours and breakfast options. Charged for cups for coffee in lobby. Really? For what they charge per night, coffee should be free.

Parking is $15 a night. You can self park (we did) or use the valet service for the same price. There seems to be a lot of conflicting information on this, so we were confused, but it all worked out fine. Otherwise we had a lovely stay.
