Planos Hotel

Great family hotel. Perfect size. The rooms were very nice and modern. The pool area was the perfect size for the size of the hotel. We have a lot of fun. No entertainment at the hotel but you can go next door and enjoy their evening entertainment plus you can use the all inclusive too. Some of the drinks were better than the actual hotel. Food - the breakfast is expected from all inclusive. Not too bad at all. The snack menu was awesome. Freshly cooked and brought to your sunbed. Loved it!! Main dinner was buffet and we had a decent selection. Steak most nights which was nice. Overall no issues at all with the food. Drinks - were decent. Lovely cocktails and the we got through the menu. Wine was ok, beer was ok. No complaints from us there. The bar lady was lovely but misunderstood. We got on with her. She was on her own all day long. The area was perfect. Away from the madness but close enough to get to. We went to madness across the road most nights. Great drinks and brilliant karaoke nights. Loved it. Staf worked hard there but made you feel welcome. 100% recommend. There was also a bar down the road and that was great. Live music and awesome cider on tap. Don't remember the name but turn right out of the hotel go around the corner and you'll see it. Also in that direction their is a beach. The best beach we went to. Quiet, got a bed and not manic like tsilivi beach. I really would recommend the hotel and the area for families. Tsilivi is lovely and would definitely go back. Give it a try

Very lovely hotel. We were first greeted with champagne, and taken to our room. Then we were giving a free bottle of wine. Room was lovely & clean. Hotel staff could not be nicer. Nicole on the bar was amazing throughout the full holiday, super friendly. We went bed & breakfast but bought from snack menu every day. The food from the snack menu was amazing!! Great location, about 10 minutes walk from bars/restaurants and 15 from beach. The only slight complaint we had was there was no drain cover in the shower, and the shower flooded the bathroom quite often which wasn't ideal. Breakfast wasn't as good but that didn't ruin our experience at all.

We had a lovely stay here and would come back in a heart 💓. Only one down side is that the bathroom need some attention. Very mouldy and grout dirty.Staff were amazing and very helpful when needed.if you need a tui rep go down to the planos bay hotel as we never saw one in ours.

Lovely hotel. Room was good on 4th floor which is what we requested with pool view . Some rooms ending in 01 to 04 on each floor not ideal as look over a car park and generator so email ahead to ensure you aren’t allocated one. Most have a pool view though. We were in 405 which was fine although balcony a bit public with people walking past. No drawers in room which is needed also I suggest you take some coat hangers as very few in room. Food great especially snack bar. This is brought to your sunbed and perfect menu for during the day and part of the AI. Not a hotel for kids as no entertainment or food in the restaurant for them, although snack bar does cater for kids. Hotel is on a busy flight path which I don’t think has been mentioned before. You can use hotel opposite to and is part of the AI. Great bar if you turn right and walk for 3/4 minutes I think it’s called the Kalivo bar. Best act is Micheal B brilliant show and not all of it MB as he sings a variety in 2nd half. Maintenance is excellent at the hotel and anything that needs doing is carried out immediately. Not much you could fault with hotel and all staff are very helpful.

lovely hotel Staff where lovely and reception staff warm and welcoming on arrival with a welcome drink (which was needed) Rooms big and spacious - on a night was dark which was great - room also had air con (which was on all the time) and safe at no additional cost. Bottle of wine in fridge and they do provide bottles of water but this stopped two days before we left. Had daily change of towels in room but in 10 nights that we stayed sheets where not changed and room was not really cleaned - they was dust and other items left under bed and sofa beds - and shower drain hole could do with some attention as had some mould around it. But bathroom was clean and modern TV also in room - can use netflix, prime and youtube Free wifi in hotel and if your TV is switched on you also get your own room internet but this goes off once you leave room. Hairdryer is also provided - this is not attached to the wall so can use it freely. Pool is great - some rooms have swim up rooms - but only seem to have small amount of water. one of the ladders in main pool needs to be screwed on as loose - you also get card per person to get use of free pool towels and can be changed on daily basis. Sunbeds loads and also have some form of beds which people can use Food - we stayed AI - food was lovely and area clean and tidy (we did eat out as well) snacks are available also if your AL but if you go B&B can purchase snacks and drinks. Bar - only one staff on during day and change over on evening could benefit from extra pair of hands - I cant remember the ladies name but she was pleasant and happy to help. Drinks where also good my favourite was lemon drop. Late check out can get room for around 60 Euros but they have shower/curtesy room if you dont want to keep room luggage hold as well. hotel is clean and tidy and can use the hotel next door (TUI hotel) if your AL to have drinks and meal and entertainment as Planos hotel do not have any entertainment, we went over to TUI hotel twice one on a Saturday night but was rubbish had people dancing with brushes and the Greek night which was very disappointing and bit bland which was a shame. Maybe this is just my own views Area lots to do and lots of bars and eating areas near to hotel. We would definitely return to Planos and thank all staff for been welcoming

Refurbished hotel but we felt not up to scratch. Pool and bar areas lovely and clean. The restaurant and bar staff were really helpful and friendly. Location is good, just 5 mins walk from main *****. However, for us there were more cons than pros. A family room for 4 people with 10 hangers and a couple of shelves is poor. Lived out of suitcases for 11 days. Our room wasnt cleaned on several occasions, despite keep reporting to reception. Had a constant issue with our air conditioning, again reported to reception on 5 occassions and was fixed on day 10 , we went home the following day. The pool area is small and getting a sunbed was a morning pain in the backside. It also lacks much needed parasols. Has a lovely terrace back of the pool bilut only shaed is partial from buildings. Needs two people on the bar, spent a lot of time queuing especially when snack time orders were being put in and that was most of the day. Absolutely no entertainment of any kind. Apparently you can use the bar in the hotel across the road, that info was never given to us (found on a review after we left) Food choices really do need improving, the actual quality was really good, however, the variety really was lacking. Same for lunch and dinner and we certainly are not fussy eaters. I believe we paid too much for this all inclusive. The same price would of gotten us more facilities and better service elsewhere.

We went to Planos with low expectations having read previous reviews on Trip Advisor however the reviews were actually for a different hotel with a similar name! And this hotel exceeded our expectations! Planos has been refurbed and is owned by Xenos and the refurb is great! All areas are exactly like the pictures advertised! This hotel is conveniently located to get around Tsilivi and Zante and although at around 23:00hrs the hotel closes everything you might need is on your door step. The hotel has 1 buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The cold counters are well stocked with bread? Salad, ready made starters, fruit pots for breakfast and options will exceed your expectations for a 31/2 star hotel! Warm food is fresh there is sissy’s a pasta dish, fresh pasta and separate sauces so you can mix your own, soup, grilled fish, grilled meat and plenty more to choose from. We didn’t struggle to eat at any meal time I e cream is available during restaurant opening times and can be purchased if you’re not in all inclusive Snack bar is open also at this hotel with a fabulous menu and can be ordered to be delivered to the outside eating area or where you are sitting - the menu is great and good if hood quality There is 1 bar area which serves, coffee, fruit juice, mocktails, local brand alcoholic drinks and cocktails up until 23:00hrs If evening entertainment is your thing, this is available at the Admiral which is the sister hotel opposite and if your all inclusive, this can be used. We didn’t utilise this service but important to mention Our stay was fabulous! The service from Reception professional and friendly and always on hand to go above and beyond! Housekeeping was to a good standard rooms in good condition, hood standard of cleaning and always presented above the official star rating of this hotel Overall a brilliant stay and we will return only 1 thing I would mention is there needs to be more than 1 mirror in the rooms! Where there is only a mirror in the bathroom it dues make it challenging to get ready Thanks Planos and every single member of staff - excellent stay and we will be back

Recently returned from a week at planos we were a family of 4 in a swim up room Couldn’t fault this hotel at all, although the room could have been bigger but didn’t bother us as we were never in it Food was lovely and snack bar food was great Pool area and all of the hotel was very clean Location was perfect for us as it was only a 5 minute walk to the beach and all the bars and restaurants They also had mini golf and arcades for the kids up the road which we did aswell Would definitely return as all in all a fantastic holiday had

We recently stayed at the Planos Hotel and we were not disappointed. The hotel itself has gone through some major upgrades which I’m pleased to say we were able to benefit from. The staff all went above and beyond, especially in reception, in the fantastic restaurant and most importantly at the bar. Despite not being the largest hotels, there was a real family feel and we would highly recommend to any families looking for a clean and tidy hotel close to both the beautiful beaches and lively town. A hidden gem!
