We loved our sisters’ trip to Royal Hideaway. Staff on the whole was very helpful. Beach was great first two days then the wind picked up and in spite of every effort on the part of the hotel, seaweed kept coming in on big waves. We were made very comfortable at the pool area. Shout out to Roberto, Exal and Raul. Dining options were pretty good though later seatings are pressured to leave due to closed kitchens. Carlo at Spices was amazing. Swiss trained and a pro. Lunch not at all inspiring, I wish the grill was out there every day. David, our unit concierge was very helpful and Perla our room housekeeper was amazing. Nespresso machine in room perfect. Btw, the room was very adequate, yes a bit dated but well spread out with a generous balcony/porch and big bathroom with 2 sinks and separate spaces. My sister had a great time with tennis instruction and gym was great for me. We are coming back next year…small, chill and very safe resort. Waaay better than the last 2 resorts we were at close by. Highly recommend!

This is the place you hope you’re booking when you book an all-inclusive resort. It’s beautiful, well-maintained, the rooms are spectacular, the balconies are large, palm trees everywhere, it’s quiet, has multiple pools, some hidden away in corners, the staff are excellent, the food is amazing, and there’s plenty of space on the beach to lounge. Every pair of loungers comes with a shade and a table for drinks. Servers come around routinely and the drinks are awesome. The restaurants themselves are incredible and we are so very happy with our stay. We’d recommend this place to anyone we love, and plan to go back ourselves next winter.

I was disappointed that I had booked a king bed for my wife and I on our honeymoon. Upon arriving I was given a room with two full beds. We explained to the staff the room was not the room they booked. They told us they could not do anything about it. They also told us to give us a king room would be a downgrade. Please note we did not have any type of a view in our room. We were directly facing another building . We explained that a room with two full beds on our honeymoon was a downgrade to us. On our last two nights they finally switched us to a room with a king bed. It was a big hassle as we had to move all of our stuff mid day which interrupted our tour plans. It also took a lot of complaining to make this happen. If we did not complain we would have been stuck sleeping uncomfortably on which should have been a very special trip.

El estado y servicio del hotel es muy bueno. Excepto que me robaron en la habitación y nunca me dieron una respuetsa pornparte del hotel

We loved how quiet the resort was and enjoyed being around only adults, however we did not enjoy the food and didn't appreciate the house cleaner stealing my husband's medicine. This was our second time at this resort and unfortunately we won't be returning.
