Don’t waste your money paying for superior select. You get nothing extra. Reservations are always booked so you have to eat the buffet almost every meal. If you have kids, it a good place to go, not for couples. We paid For the supposed adults only area and kids were rampant. Kids were also in the adult only beach. No quiet anywhere. Staff was indifferent and sometimes rude. Resort is understaffed. Will not be returning.

Horrible food that you constantly stress about. Unable to get dinner reservations anywhere and the process is so bad staff even complain about it. Rooms smell like sewage. Pools are dirty. Guest services is a bunch of POS males that cannot listen nor help in any manner. WORST VACATION EVER!! Avoid at ALL costs!!

The property is really nice, the ocean is beautiful and warm and quite outstanding. Water shoes are a must. But get into that ocean ! Lots of monkeys in the trees and other wildlife . They have a small area with donkeys and sheep which I think is unnecessary , as the small amount of animals in there look miserable although they did have staff in there taking care of them each day. The big negative is the reservation system .. they have an app which is not accurate at all. And for the Brazilian and Japanese restaurants, you need to line up for some reason at 9:00 am and it’s a ridiculously long line … like hours long. And then you still can’t get in. So I wouldn’t even bother wasting your holiday time doing that. We went to the Italian restaurant after we couldn’t get the app to do its thing. And they let us in. So just do that … go talk to them at the restaurant around dinner time. It’s really a ridiculous system that needs to be changed. But mostly , the staff and servers around the resort were nice and friendly. We did book our shuttle to and from the airport through ******* when we booked our trip. Well the shuttle from the Cancun airport didn’t come and get us ! So we had to pay big money to take a cab. The guy was apologetic and gave us info to request a refund. So we’ll see how that goes 🙄. I will be contacting customer service on that matter and hoping for the best.

Where do I start. The resort is huge and there’s lots of walking to the buffet and or beach. The food at this resort is literally horrible. The buffet has the same food everyday. You have to wait in line for breakfast to get an omelette for min 20-30 min because they refuse to add another cook. The rest of the breakfast food is with empty or ice cold. The restaurants serve the buffet food except it’s worse. The staff are more worried about cleaning the tables than serving the guests needs. It was a real disappoin**ent to say the least. The beach is disgusting filled with garbage. You can’t swim in the ocean due to the rocks lining the ocean floor. The only good thing about this resort are the monkeys and raccoons which we fed every morning while on the deck. The kids waterpark was closed down half the time we were there and the shorter kids couldn’t use the bigger slides. The lunch at the slides was hot dogs and hamburgers which literally took 45 min to get. The whole resort is run very poorly. Seriously if you are thinking of going to this resort, don’t. Spend the extra money and go somewhere else. Absolutely horrible.

This was our 4th visit to this resort, and I have to say that this resort is going downhill. The food is not very good and the new snack shack is terrible. The dining options are limited to 2 buffets as all the other restaurants are always completely booked. Dinner service shuts down at 9 pm, so if you want any snacks after, room service is your only option, if you want to wait another 2 hours for it. The buffets serve the exact same thing every night, and the bar ran out of basic alcohol so much that the buffets could not serve it either. I used to love this resort for all its options and variety but I was more than disappointed with it. We have a timeshare here and I doubt we will ever be back, as I don’t feel it’s worth the money you spend to stay here. Huge disappoin**ent this time!

Spent 3 days with no air conditioning in our numerous requests to have it fixed. Food with not great and good luck trying to get in to the ala carts. You have to wait until booking opens up at 12:00am for the next day! Otherwise you will not get in. However, if you are able to get in the ala carts are sub par. You will not able to get into the Japanese or the Brazilian unless you are Royal Elite. I don’t recommend this hotel.

Lo único bueno del hotel fue la habitación y los toboganes. Después la atención muy floja, el hotel no tiene una playa linda, está llena de rocas. Para disfrutar de los días nos íbamos al Sandos Playacar que ese si era un hotel digno. Para cenar en los restaurantes había que esperar hasta las 12 de la noche que se abrían las reservas. No lo recomiendo ni volvería

Lines, lines everywhere lines. 2 hours just to check in. Only had 2 people at front desk, but there were 8 people at guest services doing nothing. Stayed 5 days and was unable to get a reservation at any restaurants, the entire time. Had to go to one of the 2 buffets for every meal. Food was fine but had to wait in a line for 20 minutes just to get eggs in the morning. At dinner the line was just as big to get tacos. Every bar line at least 15 minutes long or longer. Stayed at this resort 10 years ago and it was one of my family’s best memories, service was great and no issues. So disappointed this time, we will never go back. The resort has gotten so big that the staff can not keep up with the amount of people staying there. We could not even do any activities that they had because you needed a reservation to do anything, this was not stated anywhere. tried to make reservations the second day there, but everything was booked up the entire time we were there. Talk about frustrating. Thanks to Diego who allowed my oldest daughter and her boyfriend to do the swim the same day because he wasn’t fully booked and they tagged along with another family. went to sister resort for $100 round trip transport for 6, much better there. We are by no means picky, we usually go camping, so are standards are not high, but i can’t recommend this resort. Too many issues, sad

The property itself is neat because it looks like it’s been placed in the centre of a jungle with lots of vegetation cute little bridges over mangroves and a lot of animals. My room was nice and clean. I feel that I was in one of the newer areas of the resort, my kids loved the bunkbeds. The food was terrible. All four of my family members got food poisoning. I was very disappointed that there was no pico de gallo at this resort or guacamole. When I ordered guacamole, I got puréed avocado I’ve never been to a Mexican resort that didn’t have pico de gallo and guacamole with chips for their guests to enjoy , there was no pasta station which really disappointed my son that’s one of his favourite things of Mexican resorts. The water in the pools was filthy and I never saw anyone cleaning it. The pools are too small for the size of resort that they have so they are packed and there was only one bartender manning the swim up bar, causing us to have to stand in line for a long times to get a drink , it looks to me as the resort rooms but not amenities entertainment was excellent and the activity staff were excellent. The beach was horrible. Probably the worst speech I have ever seen in Mexico and I have been too many resorts. It is so rocky that you cannot even walk on it with water shoes I do not recommend this resort
