中央酒店(Hotel Central)

Das Hotel war sauber und das Personal freundlich. Das Frühstück würde ich als Standard bezeichnen. Leider sind die Zimmer extrem hellhörig. Ich hatte das Gefühl, mein Nachbar würde in meinem Zimmer stehen. Eine mögliche Ursache hierfür könnte sein, dass mein Einzelzimmer vom Nachbarzimmer nur durch einen Schrank abgetrennt war, an dem ich sogar in das Nachbarzimmer vorbeischauen konnte. Ich würde dem Hotel dringend empfehlen, die Zimmer baulich voneinander zu trennen.

Hotel mitten in der Stadt, beim Frühstück und im Hoteleigenen Restaurant schaut man direkt auf den Standplatz und die Kirche. Das Hotel hat auch einen Dachterasse und ein Café im 5. Stock. Auch einen Hoteleigenen Parkplatz konnte ich bekommen. Das Restaurant im 1. Stock des Hotels kann ich auch empfehlen.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am großen Platz in der Stadtmitte. Die Altstadt und alle großen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in Laufentfernung. Schöne, moderne Zimmer. Roof-Top Bistro/Bar mit tollem Blick über die Altstadt. Rezeption teilweise deutschsprachig. Angesichts der zentralen Lage gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Friendly staff, good location right on the square. When booking, make sure you setup parking as well. We spent one night and were on the 4th floor (that’s 5th for us Americans). The floor looked like it was forgotten from the time it was built in the Eastern-bloc era. However, the lower floors looked renovated and more up to date. What redeemed the place was the unexpectedly nice restaurant where the breakfast is served (good breakfast too). And, oddly enough…we appreciated the strong showers from the high water pressure. Odd to highlight that, but we liked it!

Since the hotel was renovated a while ago, the lobby looks very smart. But the rooms have not been touched. They could at least have refurbished the hallways. If you book the single rooms, you get a place the size of a match box. Go for a double room (more expensive though) to have a bit more space. From the 5th floor (there's a lift) you can overlook a big part of the city and the market square. They've opened a café/bar there that serves small snacks and a wide variety of drinks. Good views, but service is not very friendly and they don't speak any other language but Czech, which is a real pity. Breakfast is OK, but the coffee (from a machine) is up for improvement .

The lady at the front desk was fantastic. She allowed me to choose rooms. The hotel is okay for a nights stay. It’s loud at night if you are facing the square. Beds are mediocre. Breakfast is very good. Bring your own wine open, the hotel does not have one!

We arrived late due to train delays in Munich. I emailed reception to let them know and they were very accommodating. Hotel very central with easy access and great views of the square Very comfortable rooms Breakfast varied but unusually no toast only bread .
