A stay at Bossington Hall doesn't disappoint. Its location, beauty and views set the scene as you arrive, and once inside you immediately appreciate the luxurious, relaxing atmosphere and carefully curated rooms. The breakfasts are fabulous and Guy and his staff are welcoming and helpful, yet unobtrusive. The whole place is enchanting, comfortable and a great place to stay whatever the weather. We would love to return.

An amazing place, stunning building and grounds. Bossington Hall is both welcoming and quietly luxurious. Guy is a fantastic host and we had a marvelous time. Breakfasts were outstanding, I love thick bacon and the pastries were stunning. We're definitively coming back!!

Question - how does someone without a background in hospitality (as far as we're aware), get it more right than 90% of people in the hospitality industry? The attention to detail, the touches in each room, the standards; everything was exemplary. My wife and I have many years in the business and can be hypercritical. So many places we've stayed in have fallen below our expectations, but Bossington Hall exceeded them in all areas: even before we arrived, the information received made us feel relaxed and the local restaurants stood up to their recommendation. I almost didn't write this review, selfishly not wanting too many to discover it!!

My husband proposed to me at Hurlstone Point, and we spent that weekend at Bossington Hall. We now come here for our anniversary every year - this was our second visit and this time we got to bring our dog with us - they have two bedrooms that allow dogs. The room we stayed in was beautiful with access to the gardens straight from our rooms which made it easy for our dog. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are always delicious!! The location is great, next to Bossington Beach and Kitnors tea rooms, and a very easy drive to Porlock and Minehead where there are great selections of pubs/restaurants for dinner. We look forward to returning every year!

Truly a treat & a wonderful place to stay. Spent 2 nights in the Heddon room which is a vast, beautifully presented room with opulent bathroom, great facilities & incredible sea & garden views. Everything from the decor, style, facilities, a very warm welcome, bar, cinema room, beautiful garden & lovely, quality breakfast just could not be faulted. You come across places like this so rarely. Thank you Guy for making our stay & my wife's birthday special

Beautiful location with stunning views from bedroom and Dining Hall. High quality arts and crafts architecture and matching antique and vintage furniture. Delighful ambience helped by informative and helpful owners Guy and Anna? Super breakfast and very relaxing throughout.

We can’t rate this establishment highly enough - having stayed at various 5 star hotels over the years they could all learn a thing or two from how BOSSINGTON Hall is run. Guy was extremely welcoming and couldn’t do enough to make our stay a pleasurable one . The property is amazing , the grounds and views are amazing . A lovely old building that is specced to a very high standard - the rooms large and very comfortably furnished with views over the sea . We even had a game of squash in the listed squash court in the grounds . The whole place has an unpretentious air about it but exudes quality and charm to make you feel totally at home . My advice is don’t bother looking at anywhere better . You won’t find it .

There are a few occasions when you come across something special that gives you a big smile. Bossington Hall is such a place. The sweeping drive up to the Hall is an immediate wow factor, giving superb views to the sea. As you enter you are transported back to olde England, with oak doors, and beams. However, it's a 1911 built house that shouts quality. We were welcomed by Abby, given a tour and shown to our rooms. Every comfort from the bed, bed linen, bathroom facilities, tea tray, tv, fridge and more was exactly right. A very sensibly priced honesty bar and cheese selection was just another nod to making our stay perfect. Breakfast could not be faulted, with top quality bacon, sausages, and a continental buffet. I haven't yet mentioned Guy, the owner, who is a perfect host. What the heck, we're going back!
