El edificio está en muy mal estado, las albercas lindas pero la atención del personal pésima, sobre todo de Daniela la gerente , que nos trató como si fueras delincuentes.. desocupamos el cuarto a las 12 y nos quedamos con los niños un rato más en la alberca cuando de repente llego a amenizarnos con llamar a la policía si no nos íbamos INCREIBLE!!! No pierdan su dinero en este lugar casi en ruinas y con ese tipo de personal

I want to be easy on them as they have endured quite a bit since Hurricane Harvey (2017) and then the setback with COVID 2 years later. The Resort has definitely seen better days. It’s very rundown and feels like a hurricane just hit recently. The pool area is nice, the room we stayed in was nice and comfortable. We enjoyed it. The service and workers were all nice. The food at the restaurant was good, just be prepared to sit in a big room that feels like a shelter. Again, I feel bad for this resort but we were told that the renovations are starting to happen now that insurance and the legality of it all is moving forward after so many years. It’s a boardwalk away from the beach and the pools had plenty to entertain my kids so we’re happy!

I was completely dissatisfied with my stay here. I booked this resort to have the resort experience but everything that a resort should have was closed on the days that we stayed but we still paid the same amount as any other day.

For the price point major renovations are needed. The pool area is really nice but the buildings are in bad shape. Some of the rooms are still boarded up and need to be gutted. Harvey was rough on the property but it should be recovered by now. If it were a cheaper place I might consider going there again on a weekend trip.

Nice vacation spot! The pool area looks like a destination resort. Food truck was a nice touch for convenience too! Dj was good and the sun down movie was cute! Be careful if allergic to bees by pool.

We had a great visit. The improvements to Port Royal are very visible. New elevators and the painting going on throughout the complex makes a significant difference in the operation and appearance. In talking with staff, further improvements are already in the works.

It could have been wonderful, but the amenities require updating. Both the interior and exterior walls need painting. The whole property is an eyesore. The kids enjoyed the property slides and being able to walk to the beach.

This facility is in such bad repair, it's literally dangerous in some cases (lower pool algae), a joke (361 "restaurant"), with many items in our room just simply broken. The place is a joke. Go somewhere else.

If you're expecting something fancy, go somewhere else. But we found this place to be perfect for our family. There were ample hot tubs, two heated pools for the kids and four other pool options (not heated) for warm days. A swim up bar, food truck and banquet style restaurant complete the amenities. It's charming and perfectly located to the beach to make it easy for littles to go back and forth. Make sure to stop for groceries before you go over the bridge as it's a good 20 minute drive for food.
