We had the best time staying at Outriggers - the hosts Amanda and Peter are the most wonderful, welcoming managers who were incredibly helpful when choosing tours and activities. We felt incredibly safe and comfortable throughout our stay and the apar**ent itself had all of the amenities needed for a 10 day trip - including a washer and dryer! The pool was beautiful and everything was clean and well maintained. Will definitely be staying here again if we come back up to Port Douglas! - Katie

Situated in a perfect location. Had all the amenities you could have possibly needed. Amanda and Peter were welcoming and so helpful with booking any of the tours we wanted to do, they really took the hassle and stress out of it all. Would gladly come back. Fantastic experience

Fantastic 10 days at Port Douglas Outrigger. Our unit was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Peter and Amanda Owner Managers provided outstanding service. They met us on arrival and personally escorted us onto our bus on departure. Peter and Amanda arranged all our tours and advice on things to see and places to eat they were available whenever needed and were a wealth of information. The pool is beautiful and nice temperature for a relaxing swim. The Outrigger is located a short walk to centre of town, marina and the beach. Apar**ent was clean, pool area was lovely and Peter and Amanda were very helpful, welcoming hosts. It is walking distance to beach, cafes and shops. The kitchen was well stocked but only one toilet roll and one sachet of clothes detergent for an eight night stay. I would stay here again and recommend to friends.

The Outrigger apar**ents in Port Douglas is a fabulous place to stay. Our hosts, Amanda and Peter, are the BEST! So warm, friendly, and generous with their time. They make all guests feel so welcome and special. We met our daughter, son-in-law, and our 10-year-old grand-twins there for a weeklong holiday. They live in Australia while we live in the US. We stayed in two nearby apar**ents -- which was just perfect. Port Douglas was the ideal location from which to explore the Daintree Rainforest, go snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef, see crocodiles in the wild, fish for barramundi, and visit Kuranda with Birdworld and its Skyrail gondola. The Outrigger's location is very walkable to virtually all Port Douglas restaurants, shops, and town activities -- such as the ANZAC Day Parade we were fortunate to see. The grandkids also loved spending hours playing in the pool. Plus, we really appreciated having a washer/dryer in our unit. Everything worked great and we hope love to return in the future. Best hosts ever!

It does not surprise me one bit that the Outrigger is so highly rated on trip advisor and it's all down to Amanda and Peter. What wonderful managers and caretakers of a well-placed, boutique set of units. The pool is lovely and was well enjoyed by the kids. The units themselves were a decent size for a family of 4 and had good facilities. The location is perfect - an easy walk to the beach and into town. It's honestly such great value for money and a great place to stay. Amanda and Peter went above and beyond to make sure that our trip was wonderful. They were so friendly and were always up for a chat - sharing lots of tips on which tours to book and where to go. We loved our time here and would recommend it.

Fantastic stay - we’ll be back. From the moment you arrive you are welcomed with open arms. Amanda and Peter are the perfect hosts. The accommodation has ample space , is clean and provides everything you need for your stay. The location is ideal with essential needs around the corner and access to all the restaurants, marina and markets within walking distance. You’d be hard placed to find more perfect accommodation in port Douglas.
