A motel, at best, for $300+ a night, offers few amenities. Pluses are water pressure and hot water. The only staff member who was there (doing front desk, bartender, and maintenance) was very nice and helpful. Our room had a screen door that was broken, no air conditioning, but was promptly fixed. Thank goodness, as the room was very warm. This is a motel that is trying to, unsuccessfully, brand itself as a boutique hotel. The “bar” consisted of a couple of beers, and the restaurant wasn’t operational.
