斯特林杜勒斯機場希爾頓逸林酒店(DoubleTree by Hilton Dulles Airport - Sterling)

The hotel is close (about 10-minute drive) to the Washington Dulles International Airport. We spent one night at the hotel. There were stains on the wall and bed. The hair conditioner and body gel bottles were empty. There were only tiny towels, which are not intended for shower. We purchased two breakfasts when making the reservation; however, we were initially required to repay our breakfast. The front desk lady was not friendly. Finally the breakfast issue was resolved, but it was definitely an unexpected and unpleasant experience. Our overall experience with the hotel was not good. It actually damaged the image of Doubletree Hilton and 4-star hotel in our hearts. Would not recommend.

It smelled like a nursing home. Had to run to the store to spray down everything with Lysol and Febreze. Towels/Wash cloths had stains on them. Found almonds on the floor from someone’s previous stay. Wallpaper was ripped right in the middle of the wall. I was not at all satisfied with my stay. Very uncomfortable

Extremely polite and friendly staff. Clean and quiet. Only drawback was shower water temperature was warm, not hot-even when first using. Overall a very nice convenient hotel. Thank you!

Took over an hour to get us checked in. We were told there was an “emergency” that caused many rooms not to be ready. “Manager” not on duty came in to assist (drove in from an hour away) with cleaning and with emergency. Communication about the situation was very delayed and not good. Front desk staff should have told us what was going on from the onset so that we could know what to expect. Instead, we were left in limbo, during which time it became more and more frustrating due to lack of information.

This particular doubletree, needs updated. You can tell the owners, aren’t putting any money back into it. Just a few minor adjus**ents, and things should be up to normal doubletree standards.

I thought the check in staff was helpful and friendly and gave me good advice for a restaurant to eat lunch.
