Magnifique Sublime

Wij boekten opnieuw een weekje verblijf in dit hotel… Het gebouw en inrichting is zeer mooi. Eveneens de ligging niets op aan te merken.. Wel de service is zeker aan het minderen, geen personeel in de verdieping zwembad enz…. Wel moet ik zeggen het personeel bij het ontbijt goed hun best deden, proficiat.. De namiddag om 16,30 gratis hapjes en drank is verminderd naar 30 minuten en aanbieding is erg pover.. dat was zeven jaar geleden heel wat beter.. Erg is dat ze konstant dezelfde muziek draaien, alsof er maar twee cd bestaan.: Charles Aznavour en Elton John …tot vervelens toe.. Wifi sterke is prima…… Wij boekte ontbijt inbegrepen. Toch moest er een papiertje ondertekend worden elke dag, vanonder vermeld “ dienst niet inbegrepen “ ? Restaurant in Hotel zondag en maandag gesloten. Wij zaten er midden in de week en bestelde twee biertjes om mee naar de kamer te brengen.. ik breng ze u zij de kelner.. toch na erg lang wachten op kamer ben ik ze zelf gaan halen. ( ik moest wel 200 kronen betalen, service). Schuld van de chef, beweerde de kelner… En inderdaad later heb ik kennis gemaakt met haar, die zit zeker niet goed in haar vel. Het mooie terras meestal verlaten .. toch rustig en leuk te zitten.. De badkamer is ruim. De producten stellen niet veel voor.. Er is een koffie machientje en koffiecups aanwezig op de kamer ,ook thee. Dagelijks een gratis fles water en twee pralines.. Er is geen café meer.. wel tussen 12 en 22 uur.. eigelijk voor een hotel in dit type moet er altijd een bar open zijn….. Buiten is er een vermelding vanaf 12 uur Sandwiches…. We willen bestellen .. neen meneer alleen wat op kaart staat … wat een toestand….dus we gaan naar andere zaak.. Op het terras , iets na de middag betaal je 80 kronen voor een biertje en later op dezelfde plaats 110 kronen … er is hier duidelijk iets mis.., ik wens dit hotel snel andere beheerders toe.. Hopelijk bestaat dit hotel nog binnen zeven jaar en gaat het niet verder bergafwaarts…. Ons eerste bezoek zeven jaar geleden was zeker vijf sterren waard , nu drie..

Super ruhig und doch zentral, keine zehn Minuten zu Fuss zur Karlsbrücke. Märchenhafte Einrichtung. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist klein, fein und etwas vom besten! Das Familienzimmer ist gemütlich und ich habe geschlafen wie ein Baby. sehr freundliches Personal! Im romantischen Innenhof kann man nach der Stadtbesichtigung gemütlich ein Bierchen trinken. Einfach wunderbar!

J’avais réservé le package FairyTale Afternoon au spa de l’hôtel. J’ai été assez déçu d’avoir pris ce package. L’hôtel est très joli et le spa également. Avant le soin vous avez une heure de « détente » et malheureusement nous n’avons pas du tout profité de cette heure de détente. Le spa est ouvert à tous les résidents de l’hôtel ce qui est normal mais la salle de « repos » est juste à côté de la piscine et nous étions avec une famille avec un enfant très très bruyant donc vous pouvez oublié tout repos et relaxation … le sauna est tout petit et le hammam est réservé aux femmes. En revanche le massage était très bien donc je vous recommande plutôt de ne prendre que ce soin. Attention ils vous facturent l’huile de massage c’est la première fois que je vois cela dans un spa … vu le prix du package je trouve cela assez limite. Le dîner était très sympathique. Le cadre est sublime. Nous étions quasiment la seule table du restaurant donc les serveurs étaient aux petits soins avec nous.

The cafe was amazing. It has the best chocolates that are made in the hotel. Accommodations are very comfortable, with plenty of room for luggage. You really feel like you’ve stepped back in time, without any loss of amenities. The included breakfast is delicious with so many options. If you need to be out the door early, they can accommodate you by either opening the breakfast a little sooner or send you on your way with a sandwich and drinks to go. Also, it is close to many embassies.

Could not have picked a better hotel or location for our visit. It is next door to the American Embassy so the street is both quiet and super safe even late at night. A five minute walk to Charles Bridge and we were so happy to be away from the hubbub of the Old Town. There are however a couple of really good restaurants on this block or farther up the street, so it’s not deserted. The hotel itself is a gorgeous historic building dating from 1517(!) with beautiful baroque decor inside. Upon arrival we were greeted with complimentary glasses of Prosecco while we checked in. Staff are all extremely friendly and helpful and go above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. (special shout-out to Daniel and front desk guy Matthew!) Our room was spacious and well appointed with luxury toiletries and a turn down pair of chocolates each night. The buffet breakfast was excellent and you can order eggs to order as well for no extra charge. I scored major points with my husband and the couple we were traveling with for finding this gem. Highly recommend.

Excellent hotel in the Mala Strana area of Prague. It is centrally located for walking in the left bank of Prague which includes the Castle, the Mala Strana district and the Charles Bridge, all within a 10 minutes walk reach. The hotel is a converted monastery, so there are 3 buildings attached to each other, with beautiful interiors and interesting decorations. There is also a pool and a spa available, and no room is the same. I travelled with my family in a group of 4 so we were able to assess 2 rooms. The rooms are large, with a lot of carved wooden furniture and elegant drapery for the windows. Bathrooms are very good, with strong shower and high quality toiletries. There is an evening turn down service with chocolates in each room and a free water bottle daily. Staff is very helpful and kind. The restaurant Aquarius is used for breakfast (beautiful place, very good breakfast buffet) and for dinner (good Italian restaurant). Overall an elegant splurge for the romantic and the traditional traveler. I would return here again.
